Should be Suggs. Still has star potential IMO.

Wait…Ingles is a SG?

IF Suggs keeps building that 3pt shot, I go Suggs. I just want my SG (with Franz and Paolo on the court) to offer good spacing and be a threat on offense without the ball. That requires a reliable to good 3 ball and off ball cutting

Not really. He could potentially play there though if we wanted, but I see no reason to do so with there already being a jogjam. Ingles will get most if not all his minutes olaying the three.

Going with Suggs, if he stays healthy he's the best option imo

Suggs was looking pretty good by end of last season. My hope is his shooting improves enough to earn that spot. I felt like they were starting Gary Harris out of necessity given the dearth of shooting in the lineup. But, it's a low bar for one of these guards to earn that position over Harris.

Cole or Black are interesting options here as well

The Magic organization want the answer to this to be Suggs so bad. You’d imagine he is the favorite simply off of what would be best long term.
I put Gary Harris. He is so the short-sighted, “we are chasing the playoffs but don’t really have a shot to win it all this season”, leave the more promising young guys on the bench-type player. Until someone mans up and takes the spot from him, it’s his to lose.

You can't start Fultz and Suggs together.

Why? Suggs shot the ball well the last few months once he was healthy. Shot 38% from deep over his last 30 games of the season:

I'm sure Weltman wants the best for Suggs, including hoping that he improves and turns into an All-Star. Simple fact of the matter is that he is incapable of it. He doesn't have the handle or the shooting chops to get the job done. Those weaknesses were assessed and that's the reason why we drafted Jett Howard. Jett may get overwritten before his rookie contract is over too, but that's just where the state of the team is at. We are churning through bodies hoping that cream rises to the top. Players won't get 4-5 years to prove themselves.
Suggs is a specialist. ...and right now, he's in a competition for 6th man against Cole Anthony. Our roster NEEDS the outside shooting that Howard can provide. The team talks about leveling up. Having a shooting guard who will draw attention is how the Magic can take the next step forward. It shouldn't take long for Mosely to figure that out, so I voted Howard.
He has 2 years to show us what he can do. ...or else he may be the next player on the outs with a new shiny draft pick or veteran star to take him out.
Gary Harris can't counter perimeter defense by attacking the rim. Jett has the handle, he just needs to finish.

If healthy, Suggs will likely be the starting SG. Suggs is a better player than Harris. Howard probably won't shoot over 40% from the field in his rookie season.

Wouldn't be surprise if Suggs wins it not sure how much of that will be org push vs merit but I think it happens. Personally I like Caleb a lot and am hoping his percentages reflect the aesthetics on his shot.

I would start Suggs at SG.
I think Harris will at least open the season as the starting SG.

Gosh-darnit do I hope the correct answer is not on your list. Orlando NEEDS to trade G-Harris and Anthony, perhaps with the Denver pick, for a starting-SG upgrade.

Gary Harris will propably start and then its up to Suggs to win the spot.
We also need at least one veteran on the floor to lead the group, player who knows who he is and is comfortable with it.
I am more interested how many minutes will Howard earn. He has the most complete skill set. Can he guard 3s ?

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I hope he's improved his jumper to become good enough to make it work and it's Suggs.
