don't mind this, we have 2 known 2-ways, let's make the 3rd a real upside signing.

Kevon's and Admiral's toughness was much appreciated. I didn't expect them to be difference makers but they really do provide a mature/professional edge that these young guys need. I'm talking about 26 year olds like 15 year vets

Re: Magic Sign F Admiral Schofield to a Two-Way Contract
I know it doesn't matter but man this organization is so uninspiring. I mean come on, you mean tk tell me there is no one else they can give a two way deal too that actually is young with some potential? I guy that literally was already a 2 way. Who u gave a full roster spot too, then cut. And then is willing to come back on a 2 way deal.... there is a reason for it. He just isn't very good( well for the nba).
It's just so predictable with the front office and organization. I'm just so tired of it. And again I know this signing doesn't mean anytbing but it just adds on to what everyone one has already been saying about being worried in this front office making the necessary moves when needed.

Orlando using the 2 way spot to hide Magic Veterans who’ve been with the team for a while. 0 chance we get anything better since we’re already young and rebuilding.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

A lot of people forget or ignore that admiral and Kevon were in the rotation when the Magic played their best (during the 6 game win streak).

We have one more 2 way spot we could do that with don't we?
I think having good pros/good culture guys is important. These two guys know how to scrap to stay in the league and work their butts off, probably the better guys to have around when our core is pretty young.
It's not necessarily about mentoring either, just the presence in the locker room of guys who are good pros makes a difference.
Potential is an overvalued concept, it takes a good environment, situation, leadership to fully realise potential> These types of guys help with that.

Re: Magic Sign F Admiral Schofield to a Two-Way Contract
It's been said before that he's a culture setter and a good guy to have in the dressing room. If you can get a guy like that on a two-way who doesn't mind if they don't get minutes then why wouldn't you? Every team needs hard working vet presences to set the tone and we've got one without having to give up a roster spot. He's also capable of providing spot minute cover if needed (though admittedly I hope we don't see him on the floor that much this season).
I wonder if Kevon will sign the third two-way or if he's holding out for a full contract somewhere.
Edit: Spotrac has Kevon signed through 23-24 on a two-way, is he already signed?

Another exciting headline. No knock on Admiral…he’s a fantastic 12th man…now we have quite a few.

Admiral did a good job last year and am glad he is returning on a Two-Way. It gives some depth if there are injuries.

We have a team full of draft picks that are young with untapped potential that needs playing time. To get another one on two way who isn’t going to get minutes doesn’t really help. At least we know that Admiral plays hard, great vet, and don’t complain. The team also like him, he’s good for our guys. I’m glad that he can continue his dream and continue playing with the team.
