poll: who gets the last 2-way contract

Post#1 » by drsd » Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:01 pm

Wilson is not eligible for this as he has logged 5 years of NBA service.

So it is between:
Brandon Williams - PG
Mac McClung - combo guard
Trevelin Queen - SG
someone else
nobody

Personally I think the Magic could use practice-squad depth at the PF slot. So I vote for "someone else".

Mcclung- because I want a reason to drive to Lakeland.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Well: unless you are going to Publix Headquarters or doing some site-seeing at the phosphate mine, there is little else in Lakeland to see.

Here are the directions from RP Funding Center in Lakeland to Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, in case you get lost:

The Magic D-league team play in Kissimmee these days. :)

Certainly, but not all of us live in the Beautiful UK And Europe where the best sightseeing and destinations are just a Ryanair flight away, Doc ;).

McClung, but 2 two-way contracts were enough for teams, third is unnecessary in my opinion.

Mac

I mean as I kept saying to everyone, top teams have his archetype

6'2-6'5
White SG
Spark

I mean... Caruso, Reaves,Grayson, Herro, Braun, etc etc

We don't have that

McClung since he's the only one with a skill.

Like drsd, I said ‘other’…we have too many g-league guards on the roster already. Some more depth among the bigs might be nice. McClung can still light up Osceola without it.

Well: the winning answer was a choice. A choise that got zero votes.

Congrats on making the squad Trevelin Queen.

Would’ve voted Queen if I saw this earlier. He deserves the spot. Wouldn’t have been mad at keeping Mac but Queen is the better player today.
