Anyway, I know it may be my personal problem, but when any player starts to get too much hype I find myself rooting against them on principle. It isn’t always a good look. But with that said, I can tell I am going to be a huge Wemby hater, adding him to my history with LeBron, Durant, Luka, Zion and many others. All the tweets from last night’s preseason game make me unreasonably angry

I dont hate Wemby he actually seems pretty humble and level headed, but damn the NBA and the media LOL. Theyve been hyping up Wemby while Paolo was dropping 20 PPG. They gave Paolo and the Magic 1 or 2 nationally televised games last season and Wemby 19 nationally televised games? FFS they have the Magic facing the **** Flamengos in the preseason

I hate being that message board guy, but I had wanted Cam Whitmore with the 6th pick (let alone the 11th pick). So it hurts right now to see how is performing in both Summer League and early preseason. If we had 2 picks, why couldn't we have for once taken a flyer on a super talent with potential personality red flags?

Black was considered by most prognosticators to be worth a top 7 pick.

But picking Jett Howard over Whitmore, Dick, Hawkins, Bukfin, George...

It's going to be very interesting to see how those guys progress in their respective careers.

Because Cam Whitmore breaks your team dynamic.

Whitmore is Antman-lite and we've seen just how far Edwards took his team for club and country. Low efficiency hero ball will kill the Orlando secret sauce.
