Nesmith got 3y/$33m extension earlier today, so this is good.

Cole provides what Orlando lacks on offense.

This is good for the logjam at PG. Cole doesnt need to worry too much about minutes now that he got his contract. Still going to be a logjam but this atleast Cole should be happy with the contract.

I’m shocked in the best way possible.

Was getting nervous seeing some of the other extensions.

This seems like a steal for a guy who could potentially be a 6th man of the year candidate.

Really love the value we got him at. He was awesome off the bench for us last year and I expect him to provide that offensive spark once again to anchor our bench unit. Glad to keep him in the fold. His improvement won me over last season.

I got to meet Cole last offseason in New York and he was such a cool, humble, fun guy. I then bought a jersey of his end of last year and was selfishly hoping he would be signed so I could wear it a while longer. Couldn't be more happy with this team-friendly deal. He is going to continue to get better and his teammates love him.

Say what you will about the team, but they are obviously creating a culture where people want to be here for him to sign for this number. A rare win-win if he likes it here.
