Absolutely deserved. He’s my favourite coach we’ve had in a while, and I liked Clifford and Vogel in general, but Mosley is a player’s coach who has united the team. Kinda reminds me of Doc’s first season with us in some ways.

It should be noted that it's technically for October and November combined, not just November.

He fixed lot of issues lot of us complained in past.

Playing slower pace with young team made no sense, given our offense is kind a limited. Fixed.
Better balance in rotation. Fixed.
Playing SOME shooters most of time. Fixed.
Cole as 6th man and green light to play as such. Fixed.

Probably the biggest reason our record is so good right now. He's doing a great job of playing to the strengths of the roster.

The Magic got to 5-5. And then Mosley changed the direction of the ship. The next wins are thus on Mosley. He deserved this award!

He may not get the A+ for strategy. But legit wins it thus far for his EQ and psychology.

When you hear multiple players in interviews saying roughly the same things about defense and sharing the ball and about what it takes to win in the NBA, you know you have a coach who is communicating the right way.

Execution (as in wins) is nice, but that requires talent and all kinds of things beyond a coach's control.

Congrats to coach Mosley. Hiring him was a good decision by FO.

Frankly, regardless of this award and "all other things", I think this separate point is correct. Mosley was exactly the correct coach for this team as it was constructed.

We fans must recall that coaching is directed by management. WeHamm (now WePark) made a good decision in this personnel hire.

Not sure how many people on this board were listening to Nets players postgame press conference, but Mikal Bridges was gushing about Magic. He praised the defense, the passion and team spirit, as well as coach. It is widely known how close Mosley and Luka have been in Dallas.

We might become an attractive FA destination once again. Or take place on some trade request lists.
