Also, this is a great move for the Magic. Stop being petty about the past and honor our legends. Not retiring Shaq’s jersey was a bad look IMO and I’m glad they have owned up to it. It’s not like the NFL where after you retire a few numbers you start running out for training camp.

Was this the reason why we got a national TV game? This is during the OKC game.

You do what you have to do to boost the profile of the franchise, now that they're relevant. It's a savvy marketing move for the value of.the franchise.

Sadly as a parent of kids that play sports I hope that T-Mac never gets his jersey retired. Can't stand that he admitted not playing hard and phoning it in some nights.


Imagine playing for your livelihood with him doing that.

Unlike Shaq Dwight actually won a game in the finals. I believe we should retire as many jerseys as we have championships... none.

I'd retire Penny's jersey before Shaquille.

Well when you break your back carrying a bunch of YMCA level players to the POs all the time, you gotta pace yourself.

Id rsther retire Dwights first to be honest... he gave more time and more production with his time here.

Not end on the world,but i would prefer to not see that.

Did Shaq screw us out of at least a couple titles? Sure, but I still love the big fella.

Same. He was here 4 years and didn't win a title. We shouldn't retire numbers just for the sake of retiring numbers
