The starters played well tonight

Almost gave it to Harris, if only he hit those open threes! WCJ was good the first half more so but played well, Fultz had a very up and down game.

Paolo - don’t want to give the vest to him because he lost me $ (had him over 22.5 pts), but I can’t be mad at basically perfect shooting and unselfish playmaking.
Suggs - major heartbeat of the team that has been sorely missed and he showed it with defense and shooting
JI - just all over the place defensively AND splashing 3s

Funny how I keep saying Paolo is our point guard. Then he progressively starts approaching Luka / Joker type numbers and it's....

He has been auditioning the last two seasons.

It's funny because when all you do is listen to broadcasts it's a level of effort you can hear.

I've gone back and forth on advanced stats, vs the smell test. There is also some nuance in the upcoming statement.

While I can confidently say that Suggs is our defensive motor and 3rd best overall player. Isaac even in his limited role has amazing win shares that I just can't deny. I hate to admit it, because he is so frail. He is just, an amazing player.

If he could get up to Suggs minutes and stay healthy he would arguably be best player number 3. Alas, lets erase that statement from our minds. Suggs is indisputably the 3rd best player. Isaac is just our dark horse motor. I can't wait for playoffs 8-9 man rotations.

I think this teams wins will come at the effort on defense this season. If they are not going to be a ++ shooting team, then they need JI and specifically Suggs to be crushing it on defense while setting the tone for the rest of the team.

Like Paolo and the rest of the team have echoed here outside of fans like myself... the motor and heart of this team is Suggs. The FO has to do their job now of filling out the rest of the roster to mitigate the weaknesses throughout. The team just isnt good enough offensively when JI sits and Suggs has an off night or is injured.
