I back the OP!

There’s been some real silly Franz slander on the board over the last month or two.

He’s a really good and impactful basketball player that contributes significantly to winning.

And while his 3PT regression has been unfortunate and perplexing, the rest of his game has gotten better.

Unpopular opinion, i still don't think Paolo surpassed Franz in terms of "best Magic player" label.

Paolo stuffs stat sheet and made it to allstar game, but Franz makes our offense somewhat funcional and is majort factor on defense given he is very mobile & agile for 6'10 person , by doing so , we don't allow missmatches.

Paolo is simply more popular due 1# selection, better all around counting numbers etc but we are 9-1 in games when Franz scores 28 or more points. In same time, among 10 best scoring performances of Paolo, we are are 5-5 in them.

Jury is still out on weather Paolo will be more efficient once we get actual funcional PG, or he will be more of a Randle type where guy puts some 25-12-5 but teams continue to play better without him due simply more fluidity & less 55% TS volumen he would occupy.

As for shooting... Goes without saying he needs to at least return to rookie- sophmore season

Well, I guess here is one clown. Franz is very good on defense, but with limited offensive game. He has regressed as shooter this season to the point of not being an option on perimeter last couple months, limiting himself only to drives and (rare) cuts.

Magic being bad without Franz is same Magic being bad with Franz having bad game, missing Paolo or Suggs having bad shooting night. We win when we play strong defense and Franz is a very important cog in that, as are Isaac, Suggs and Harris.

He’s fine but he must improve his shooting this summer. We can’t afford for him to shoot so atrociously

When did I say this? lol

On any given night Suggs is our 2nd or 3rd best player. What does that have to do with Franz? I actually said all offseason and early in the season Franz is our best player.
