Yes or no?

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

I think the timeline for him to emerge will not be next season. But definitely next couple or three seasons. His role was different. I think Magic'd let Fultz go and Black gets into rotation. That is my prediction next season

No, this team is on a different path and he’ll have to really grow quickly. He’ll be a damn solid backup for years to come though.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

There is a third option to this loaded poll. Yes, but not yet and not next season.

He doesn't play like a point guard/lead guard... I've said this since we've drafted him. He's like Bruce Brown. 2nd/3rd ball handler at best with connector written all over him.

He can be a solid defensive role player off the bench for many years. A piece that can help this team contend someday in his role.

I'm curious to see what kind of point guard, if any, we bring in via free agency.

Provocative wording...how about just yes or no? I'd say NO

Comes across as "stud or sucks?"...neither of which I'd find accurate

Yea he looked apprehensive when handling the ball.

I would suggest some posters both for and against go back and watch some of the games he played heavy minutes. He looks the part, he has the tools, he needs experience and to clean up some things. If he can do that, the sky is the limit. There is a reason he was considered top 7 pick by most everyone.

Dude just had his rookie season. Remember Jalen Suggs' rookie season shooting 20% from 3pt land?

AB has great strength in defense. I hope he can build upon that. Along with play making and more scoring. He is coming along. I just think the OP needs to change the subject or title. He won't next season but he might in the coming seasons

I would like to see him playing at least the backup PG minutes next year.

I hope Tyus Jones is signed this summer to be the starter.

I think he had a great rookie season considering how raw we knew he would be. He came in with a reputation for not being able to shoot the ball and actually shot pretty well. He's very raw but if he puts in the work on his game he absolutely can still be a core untouchable peace of this team

AB is 3-4 years away from being a good starter or bust. He could start before that, but if that's the case, something bad has happened to our real starter.

And-1

I mentally pencil in Black to replace Fultz.

Where's the undecided option? I don't think either side could state an honest case at the moment. He did get a chance to at least play, but not a fair opportunity to see if he belongs in our long term plans.

Sane and valid opinion.
