(From today) 148 days will have passed since the Magic's Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Orlando's first playoff series since 2020. Ahead of its 36th season, the Magic will hold its annual media day.
It's finally here!

SI.com:Magic Media Day Primer: Burning Questions, What to Expect
The thought lines in this story.

Q. To what heights does (Banchero) feel he can elevate his game to this season?
Q. How has (Bitadze) embraced Orlando as home after solidifying a role with the Magic last year?
Q. What expectations does (Black) hold for himself in Year 2?
Q. What does he feel the Magic are capable of achieving with (Caldwell-Pope) in the fold?
Q. Can (Carter) return to being a 15-point-per-game scorer this season?
(pro answer here: no)
Q. What goals does (da Silva) have for his rookie season?
Q. How quickly does (Harris) find stability in his new role?
Q. Will Year 3 bring about a breakthrough in (Houstan) game?
Q. Will Howard have the opportunity to play more this season?
Q. Can Isaac be an All-NBA defender?
Q. What about his veteran role with the Magic prompted Joseph to want to call Orlando home?
Q. Will Suggs be able to maintain his three-point consistency this season?
Q. Can the three-point shot (of F-Wagner) rebound?
Q. What role does (M-Wagner) play in the Magic's frontcourt rotation?
Bonus – Who occupies the Magic's final two-way spots?
(Trevelin Queen is back on a two-way deal with the Magic this season, but so far, of the three two-way contracts each team can carry, Queen is the only one accounted for.)
I like that there is one question for each player, coach and management. It is also interesting reading these questions alphabetically to surname, as clearly some of the answers to these questions impact winning more than others.
I agree with the question posed for all but Carter. Perhaps a better question for him would be, "what is required to play 60+ games this season", as there is a zero-point-zero percent chance Carter goes for 15ppg.
