Suggs had a great season last year.

Suggs had a great season last year.
He did. High impact, all-around contributor, with a lower-than-average usage given he was the third option.

-44 wins, after a slow-ish start
-5th seed but we beat the 4th seed in round 1
-top 3 defense, #1 in second half
- Suggs reverts to 35% from 3, but keeps launching 3’s. He’s not going to run the offense- but he’s a very impactful player
- KCP is solid but unspectacular …11 ppg, solid D, 39% on 4 3ptas…offense struggles overall as league clamps on Paolo. He graciously
Accepts move to a (still very significant) role off the bench …where he excels and keeps or even ups the starters’ defensive intensity
- Anthony Black takes over starting spot from KCP mid-season and never looks back, avgs. 14 ppg 5 apg 5 rpg with 2 turnovers as starter
-Franz still struggles from 3 until AB starts and ball movement/ easy shots start to develop. All-Star second half but just misses the nod
-Mosely acknowledges the “No PG Offense” is effective in small doses but not a full-time solution
-da Silva steadily grabs more and more minutes with heady, efficient 2-way play and is a big contributor by ASB, 1st team All-Rookie in a
Somewhat sleepy class. Solid & versatile but unspectacular- as hoped
- WCJ stays healthy and has a great season…40% from 3, 10 rpg…as the offense gets more up-tempo, his versatility really shows
- Isaac remains on limited (but increased) minutes and continues to make a case for DPOY. His 3pt shooting ticks up to 39%. Like Suggs, box scores don’t tell the story of his defensive impact.
- Paolo makes the All Star team based on early explosive scoring but gradually embraces a more efficient ball-moving, WINNING style as season progresses.

- ‘First 8’ of Paolo, Franz, WCJ, Isaac, Suggs, KCP, AB, da Silva steadily separates from the rest and forms a solid, playoff-ready rotation.Cole & Goga quietly request trades at TD. Jett has some inspiring moments of unconscious shooting, but is relegated to junk time. CoJo takes him on as personal project- sets him up, keeps him upbeat, etc.

How is this possible?

The 5th seed out East has had a minimum of 47-wins every year since 2017.

I am very close to all of these.

I see 49 wins and a 4-seed and second round. Individual awards are not my thing, so I only predict the stats that relate to "winning".

My inner Homer says this team might really surprise though. And: the media is stupid predicting 44 wins. That's a joke for me.

I was typing 49 wins and then decided the hell with it and went with the upside scenario.

47 wins
#3 defensively
Still well in the bottom half of the league from 3
AB’s role expands slightly
Jett on milk cartons
Da Silva will have a great year
KCP performs at career averages
Franz regresses; no improvement from 3
Paulo entrenched as a top 15-20 player
WCJ is hurt frequently, underwhelming when healthy
We will often question why Gary Harris is still here
Mosely’s rotations will give the board gas
May advance past the 1st rd but no farther than 2nd
Fans lament the missed opportunity to make a big splash during the 2023-2024 offseason
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

I have a feeling they won't be able to sustain what they did last season. I think Ingles was the perfect vet to get the most out of Moe and Isaac.

I do think Suggs can have a breakout year. I like how he can easily get up 8-10 3-pt shots up per game.

I don't think he said he didn't. All he said is that they abort the playmaking experiment.

50 wins if team stays relatively healthy
4th seed
2nd round exit

I don't know about player predictions. I just hope JI plays 2/3 of the season and that Franz shoots at a minimum 33% from 3.
