It begins. Expecting a battle, a fully healthy Miami is a good team.

Seasons like the last one and this upcoming one is why we tanked. Gotta enjoy the ride because it won’t last forever.
Excited to get the season started!

This would be a nice little "we're not screwing around this year!" game to win.

My thoughts exactly. Get to see our intensity from game 1, set the tone for who is the better team in the southleast.

The Heat are my least favorite team in the league. We know how important one game, especially against a division rival, can be for our season. Let’s go break the 3pt record Boston couldn’t last night

Key things I'm watching for:
Rotation patterns:
- Does Mosley stagger Franz and Paolo
- Who is the bench unit?
- Who is the 6th man?
Franz confidence:
- Does he look hesitant from three?

Point 1: I hope so and if it were up to me I'd play 9 guys to ensure this, but I'm very confident the Magic will play 10 guys instead
Point 2: Cole/Harris/Black/Isaac/Moritz
Point 3: Not sure this matters all that much as guys 6-7-8 will all play about the same MPG.
Point 4: I don't think so

This is awful news.
It means I have to sign up for Bally Sports again.

I agree on wanting a 9 man rotation, I agree on the probable bench. The 6th man thing will be interesting because that felt like Cole's role to start last season and if he isn't clearly in that role this season the negative trend of him losing usage continues. I agree on Franz, I don't think he's in his head.

This would be an awesome win to the start the season.
Like most I can't stand the heat & there fan base.
These are the type of games we're I think someone like kcp can be big for us.
I was contiplating going to this game in Miami since I moved down south recently but didn't want to deal with the obnoxious "heat fans".
Just play hard and make some freaking wide open 3s & they will have a chance. Well see
Go Magic!!!

Yes, although its Fan Duel sports now but same crappy app. Shame on the Magic for not going over the air like other teams have done.

If we wanna improve, we have to start winning against good teams too this season. Lets start with the Heat in Miami.

I've kind of laid off posting for the last while. Was just getting ground down by the repetitive topics and lack of real games.
BUT HERE WE ARE!
Back to the cut and thrust of 82 (+?) games. No better place to start than against the Heat.
Let's roll folks!!
