Our young guys need “Big Brother “ on the bench. Much like hockey has enforcers we need that one big man with an attitude that says,” hey you aren’t going to push them around or rough us up” we don’t need them to score necessarily we just need six fouls and his experience and edge. Someone like the Morris twins for example. Are there any Biggs available that play with grit and that dog attitude?

Mo will talk that ish and get under your skin but we need his offense. I’m talking about a junk yard dawg with a attitude that can play team ball and not necessarily someone we need for offensive production

Also that crew that referee last nights game should never be allowed to ref another game together.

KCP and Suggs should be well rested to hound Ja and Bane. Hopefully JI can suit up tonight.

I’m worried about Edey getting easy buckets in the paint with all the attention Ja and Bane are going to get.

Will be interesting to watch Jay Huff vs Mo.

I’d let Edey just go nuts down there tonight and worry about stopping Ja and Bane. Let him score until he’s too tired which might not take long. Go ahead and test his NBA conditioning.

Edey on 10+ points and 7+ rebounds is +475 lol man I hate online gambling

Smart vs Suggs should be fun

The Grizzlies scare me more than most teams.

I dont know if Paolo was here, but I remember them running us out of our arena a couple years ago. It was one of the worst losses in recent memory. And im pretty sure they killed us in Memphis that year too. And their 3rd string beat us last year. So yeah Memphis scares tf out of me especially with Ja Morant.

I know Suggs is the best guard defender there is, but Ja is so **** acrobatic, that matchup still scares me.

No excuses though, Memphis played last night too.

If they go 3 guards...who is checking Franz? I could see Smart & Bane trying to get really physical with him...but that leaves Suggs & KCP somewhat left alone (or with Ja).

As far as Edey....attack him early & often and get him in foul trouble. JJJ is more like Isaac than a truly physical big...Paolo, Franz, and WCJ will feast inside if they get Edey out of there and move the ball.

I think this is an exceptionally tough matchup for MEM, even at full strength. We've got the horses to slow down Ja...and not be stopped on the other end to the same degree.

Just read that Ja Morant is questionable....I want the win more than anything but I hope he plays.

yeah we have to attack Edey get him in foul trouble. Watched him last night vs Sengun, what a giant lol. WCJ will probably have a hard time containing him on the offensive end. Grizzlies have a 45-50 win team when they're healthy and I like their team. We get to see Jay Huff again, he has been playing well for them as many of us expected.

I would expect JJJ and Ja to both play since its their home opener

I think goga will get a decent amount of PT tonight
