I like the matchup for us. They don't have much depth but it seems like Mann and Williams have been good off the bench for them.

Mann has been very good, but he was only able to play a season low 16 minutes on Sunday because of a sore back.

It would be good for the Magic if he can't go.

Charlotte scares me a little bit, they have some talent.

Nope... i dont think so. On paper they are set.. just needs time to gel. But who knows.... too early in the season to ddcide. They could make the playins even

Do we care about the cup games?

These next 3 kinda tell me which direction this team will go without Paolo. If we can some how at least go 2-1 in these next 3 I think we'll be fine and ride out the wave.

But if we struggle this next 3 games at home and have any sort of blow outs then I'm a little less optimistic about how this Paolo stretch is going to go.

This another one of those games that if the magic lock in they should win this game. But in my eyes they haven't been fully focused as they should be so I don't know what to expect. This would be a nice win to grt us back to .500 and get our first win in the in season tournament. Let's see how it goes.

I care about them in the respect that I want to have a good regular season record and get homecourt in Round 1 of the playoffs.

But the actual NBA Cup, I don't have much of a sense of pride for it at the moment. Especially with Paolo out

It's kind of funny. Even though the defense *seems* worse this year than it was last year, they're actually 2nd in the NBA in DRTG and statistically playing better defense than last year.

The season-long offensive numbers are just in the toilet because of that absolutely horrendous back-to-back in Dallas and OKC which submarined everything.
