They starting 2 7footers, 1 6'9 defensive specialist with 2 3pt threats...
Plus they are mad at that buzzer beater.

They’ve also lost 3 in a row. And are missing Durant and Beal.
And the Magic have the significant rest advantage.
It’s a very winnable game.

I’m also rather doubtful that Phoenix will start Plumlee/Nurkic anyway as one of them would end up guarding Franz which is a no go.
I only put that as their lineup because they started that five tonight.

Watched Phoenix today, theyre not a good team without Durant. Not much offensive weapons outside of Booker. Obviously Booker is a beast, but we have the defenders for him. Im sure KCP has had a lot of reps on him. Make it hard on them, and play with a lot more energy. They just lost a tough played game, we should win this one.

Uuuhhh i think they would put the best college defender who is more or lesw the same height as our only offensove threat.
They can get away with the 2 7fters becquse Goga and TDS dont have the range to pull those 2 out of the paint.

I would be comfortable with TDS attacking Plumlee if that’s the direction they go. That is a bad matchup for them.
And teams also generally switch most screens too, so it seems like it wouldn’t be that difficult to get one of their bigs into the action if that’s what the Magic wanted to do.
Plus Tyus is a bad defender too, so 3 of the 5 guys on the floor would be players to attack on a switch. Good problem for Orlando to have.

I have a friend from Phoenix who says whenever he watches the Suns, Booker plays poorly. I'll make sure he watches the game tonight

Observations thus far....
- Moe has been doing amazing off the bench. Same as his brother Franz.
- We need the bench to continue to step up.
- Suggs is fine, but this stretch without Paolo has made it clear to me that he isn't and never will be a 2nd scoring option. He might even be a fringe 3rd option. His hustle, and determination during this period is definitely underrated as he plays the game outside of his usual strength.
- Franz - well, how does it feel to be Paolo and have to be the guy who carries us? I hope this helps him come playoff time. Franz is definitely fighting for the right to hold that Max contract with us.
- I would like to see Black shoot 10 free throws tonight. No idea why he doesn't average 4-6 a game.
I am hoping for a close game. A win would be outstanding. If we follow our current trajectory we will struggle until the end of the 3rd / 4th where the opponents offense starts to loose steam from our 90s era basketball and we can try to punish that.

This is very winnable if they lock in like the last 5. The road is always a challenge for this team, especially offensively... This would be a big win if they can pull it out. All I'm looking for is 1 win out of these 3. If they can control booker/ phoneix 3 ball and do the little things they can make it a game. Go magic

Franz has been awesome, we need that to continue obviously, but I’d like to see Suggs have one of his crazy 6 for 9 3p games along with a few of his jump in the passing lanes for a steal and fast break layup plays.

Suggs misses Paolo’s gravity on offense.
I do hope he figures it out a little bit before Paolo’s gravity returns.
