Knicks have no inside presence to defend the rim (sorry Kat you're not it) so if we can get by Bridges and OG, we should be able to get good shots in the paint. But those are good defenders, at least in the past they were.

Coach would never do this but this is a game where I would start JI and put him on Towns. I like having JI shut him down and not Goga guarding the 3 pt line. Im hoping for big minutes for Isaac today.

Im really happy we're on TNT but not estatic about hearing Reggie Miller.

I think Knicks are something like 10-0 or 12-0 after leading in the first quarter. We're also notoriously bad starters. Tough game regardless since they can all hit the three.

They can outmath us pretty easily in this. Their 6th or 7th best three point shooter by percentage is better than our best number right now. We have to shoot decent in this game and limit them. Franz has to do well plus two or three others. Might be a sneaky Cole game if people struggle on offense.

Isaac will probably also get a decent number of minutes on Towns. Gotta watch out for foul trouble with Brunson because he will foul bait the hell out of Suggs/Black.

Winnable though, but we have to do well on multiple fronts, Knicks are 0-4 versus top 10 defenses, but they're also #1 or #2 in offensive rating.in the league.

Huge game for confidence stand point. We know what the magic need to do and not do to win this game.

This is setting up for a told you so kind of lose for the magic. I'm completely cool with them losing this game but I just really hope they don't come out completely flat and get blown out. I don't want another repeat of the OKC national game from last season.

Make it a tough hard fought game and give yourself a chance to win. Go magic, show the world we are next.

I want Orlando to really show up for their national game and everyone leave MSG healthy.

This is a game where you'd like to have Paolo so they can't throw all their wing defense at Franz. They'll need to hit shots and relentlessly attack Towns.

Personally I'm just hoping to make the IST and for Franz to have a bounce-back game. You can't win them all.

Yeah I noticed it last season. Brunson is becoming or already is one of the known floppers of the league. Like Kyle Lowry status. That neck snap where no one is even near him... refs keep falling for it though.

I think Suggs and KCP will shoot their load on derense trying to contain Brunsons flopping/baiting. Thus less energy for offense.

Im thinking Moe is gonna explode on points cuz KAT isnt a defender and they lack size aside from the 5 spot.

Big game. Our recent history in big games has me a little worried (as well as playing short-handed without P5).

Also New York is set up pretty similarly to the Clippers (Brunson = Harden, a bunch of wing defenders to throw at Franz, good defensive identity). Need us to step up as a collective and fight tooth and nail like the cup game it is.
