West Court, which is formally known as the Orlando Magic Entertainment district, is formally going construction early 2025. Downtown Orlando will see expansions of roads and parks plus dining and offices. That is the plan.
As everyone knows, the biggest issue for City of Orlando is public transportation. I wish we get more Lymmo transit and Lynx busses.
Sunshine Corridor, which includes Brightline and Sun Rail station in Disney plus Orlando International Airport, is an idea that has been floated around. But it is going to cost at least 3 billion dollars. I have zero clue how city of Orlando is going to get that money. Federal Grant? I just do not know.
Also I have this wild idea to fix I4 traffic which is to do a bright line extension from Tampa to Orlando. The earliest date it could be done is all the way to 2029. It has been floated before
I love my Magic, man. I live in Central Florida myself. But I just want City of Orlando and downtown to be more convenient for games and visits. That is why I created this thread. I just wanna get some of yall ideas and "Inside Information". lol.
