Black is better than Howard at everything except the 3 and Howard is shooting at a 32% percent clip so that doesn’t even mean much either. Howard is literally useless out there. Other than one 3 he had zeros across the stat line last night. He has done this multiple times this season.

We've already seen what Jett can do. Maybe the OP hasn't watched any games. He does have some offensive moves tho. Slow as on defense which is very poor. Shooting 32% from the floor while playing bad defense won't win him any more minutes.

Yeah I was a big Whitmore fan. I loved the top 4 in that draft and was lukewarm on the rest. Guys I wanted most were Coulibaly, Whitmore, Lively and Dick.

Still fine with the AB pick, Jett pick always was a reach. Looking back at it that draft is probably just not very good outside of the top 4 which look to be pretty strong.

Thats just a false statement. AB cant dribble, cant shoot, can barely get by any defender (no first step), mediocre half court vision avg abysmal 3ast. We just need to accept that we completely butchered the 2023 draft.

Players who get consistent minutes do alot more than what Jett has shown. There is a reason he was not even the best player on his G-League team.

I am not the biggest fan of AB but if you can’t see he is better than Jett you aren’t watching the games. This is not to say AB is some great player or he can’t be traded because at this point he may have to be but he is definitely better than Jett.

The biggest issue with Black is his inconsistency. Sometimes he looks great other times he doesn’t. I don’t know how long the magic can deal with this. Jett on the other hasn’t shown anything.

AB is really good defensively but not good offensively. Unfortunately the league tends to favor offensive players now and so his impact is less. This is why I think he was drafted too high, like Weltman is still thinking about basketball like it was 15-20 years ago where Black was a legit top prospect but today a guard just has to be able to be rip it from deep and Black just isnt much of a shooter.

I just don't see what should Howard be.
For a shooter, he isn't good at shooting.
Off ball he is pretty passive.
Off the dribble he lacks burst & ballhanling ( and talent).

On defense he is too slow for guards, too weak for wings.
