Injury prone? He's similar to Marcus Smart in a lot of ways. He's extremely physical and bangs against bigger guys. Smart put on a lot of wear and tear and the Celtics sold at just the right time. Grizzlies spent 2 firsts to acquire him and then another to dump him.

2021/22 - Missed 34 games
2022/23 - Missed 29 games
2023/24 - Missed 7 games (his only healthy season)

Even if he plays every game for the rest of the season he'll still miss at least 17 games this year.

The guy can't stay healthy, in fact it's only going to get worse from here. If your body breaks down this easily when you're in your early 20's, it's not going to improve in your late 20's and early 30's.

Have you seen the way he plays? He need to change his playing style so that he is not hitting the ground so often.

I believe Suggs' style of play is more reckless than aggressive, which contributes to most, if not all, of his injuries.

I feel like he controlled that last year... and maybe it was because it was a contract year but there is not reason to go back to the reckless style 100% of the time. We need him on the court... even if he's 'only' giving us 80-90% effort. The injuries to Paolo and Franz certainly didn't help. Putting so much on his plate during that time was a disastrous move.

There was a post game interview and the reporter asked Jalen is he dealing with an injury and he said something along the line of “at this point everything hurts”. I wonder if the staff is trying to help him recover from everything else as well since he is out with the contusion.

Just for s*** and giggles count how many times a game he ends up falling on the ground from all the ball dives, awkward layup landings, flopping, overselling, getting smacked head first into screener.

Every game with him feels like Paul Pierce wheelchairs game.

He needs to learn that playing hard doesn't mean playing dumb.

Did neither of you watch the games? He had to be wheelchaired off the court from a back injury and then his first game back he limped off the court, hobbling to the back (even though it's a "contusion", it looked worse).

I did. But thata thw problem with Suggs. On screen he looks to have a season ending injury but the next 5 games he plays like it was nothing.

Then he limps off the court laughing and smiling but misses the next 3 games.

I kinda was hoping a press release or something official saying what was wrong with Suggs.
