Cole hasn’t been the issue.

I’m happy with the last 19 games but the 50 before that.

He's been hooping! We need a 3rd option and he's doing his part.

He’s been good, no doubt about it… he’s just wildly inconsistent. We’ve seen this level of play from him before (except he’s trying on defense now which is great) but he goes on LONG stretches of brutal play so it’s hard to have any confidence in him. Is it that he just needs starters minutes to play well? If so, that’s a problem for Cole (and for us). Wish he could play this well consistently.

I always thought his limit was that of a good guy to have off the bench on a contending team. Still think that.

Honestly, I think his biggest contribution on the team is being our Hype man. He's good for team spirit and morale.

Cole's biggest problem is consistency.

And I also think Cole should be the one to be kept on this team for a eventual Championship contention. Just my opinion

Problem is consistency and defending without fouling.... He's too small, he was hunted damn near every time in the 4th when he was in by Ja morant of all people..... Ja is not that big and he was little boy-ing Cole

Cole could be an effective rotation player except he thinks he's a star. If he would play within his abilities and not continuously hunt his shot and take efficient shots he could be useful. He's a good rebounder for a guard and a decent playmaker. He needs to come off the bench because 1st unit guards hunt for switches (ex. Ja down the stretch in Memphis game). This is his 5th year in the league. I don't think he's going to change.

Cole is easily the weakest defender on the team. He gets hunted pretty much all game long against every team. especially down the stretch, and he fouls a ton instead of playing solid defense. He doesn't seem to have the lateral speed to stay in front of his man, and also gets bullied in the post. If he was elite at anything, it would be fine. But he's really not. Our offensive has to be bottom in the league with him running the point, so I am not sure how to really feel about these last 19 games. I miss Suggs.

Anthony played poorly right on cue.

I'll say it again for the people in the back to hear.

We need Cole and Black to step up to at least Mo / Suggs level PPGs respectively and sustain it even after Suggs comes back. Otherwise, we simply do not put enough points on the board to win games.

Simons 2 games ago went 3-16 with 0-6 from 3 and 2-5 from FT. All players have off nights. As for his defense, he has played improved Defense, still bad, this year. I think Cole is learning to become more consistent. He hasn't hit his prime yet, so will see how it all develops. What I like to see is when either Black or Cole has bad games while the other has bad games, the other usually has a good game it seems.

Seems like he has gotten over whatever mental thing he had for half the season. So he is being more productive as result. Still, his limit going forward is being an off the bench microwave, change of pace guy. Reason is because he still not a good playmaker, ie PG, he cant even make the simple pass of a pick and roll which is bare min for a PG. His passes are off target and result in the player receiving the pass to be off rhythm. To add he is too small to be a good defender. The effort and desire is there but he is too small and his effort actually gets us in trouble because it leads to fouls so we get to penalty quicker, teams are shooting FTs.

Cole has not been the problem but he also isnt the solution. Still too inconsistent on defensive end. And when he doesnt have it going on the offensive end, hes borderline unplayable. Ex Washington. Very bad game all around when shot isnt falling. Was a negative on the court to one of the worse teams. I like Cole but unfortunately that contract will be trade bait this sumer.
