Just win one game and you get the standard game thread treatment again.

My heart goes out to you bud. My 3 year old did not cope well. Then by the time he did I tried to lay down and sleep just didn't happen.

Can we get a 14pt+ gap going in the 4th. That seems to be the limit to winning.

Miami vs. Charlotte tonight means we could be back in 9th. I'm curious if Miami eventually pulls the plug since their pick is top 14 protected.

If Miami can stay under 14th pick, they will have 2 picks this off season. If they are above 14, they lose both, but get picks in 2027 and 2029. If they truly are looking to make a major move this off season aka Durant etc, then they should stay under 14 as that would help them make moves with two 2025 1sts to trade. Appears with the way they been losing games, it is on purpose to make the playoffs, but still be below the 14th pick range.

I don't think they can make the playoffs and be below 15th pick. They need to lose the play-ins to be in the lottery I believe.
I would be lying if I said I knew all about Miami's protections, but almost think it's better they make the playoffs and convey it this year because if not it becomes unprotected? Would allow them to tank which I think is an option for them in the offseason. They can't tank if they owe OKC their 2026 unprotected. Maybe they go for Durant though, then it is pretty moot either way.

Chippy already. WCJ and Sengun are going to get into it at some point.

Solid start. Slow and sluggish play both ways for both teams. Magic making it work. The grind is where they like the be.

Cole is definitely bringing much more energy and trying to bring some of what Suggs did.

Rockets offense has been awful without FVV, now they also have lost Amen. Not going to be an easy win, but a game the Magic need to win if they want to try to make a run at .500 and the 7/8 seed.

They are just abusing the drive and handoff to Sengun. Gotta stay with him and make Green take the shot.
