It’s a toss up between Franz and Paolo but Franz’s 9 assists give him the edge for me.

It such a 1A vs 1B toss-up. For me, the Magic won this game becasue of more FGAs and that was becasue of more rebounds.
But holy-wonders what an awesome game from both!
In the end: Banchero had more rebounds than F-Wagner, so my vote is:
Banchero - V
F-Wagner - C
Black - I can't ignore his plus/minus of +15. It was Black's entrance that spurred the 21-5 run in the 3rd.
And some really nice lollis.
1) Caldwell-Pope put up another "
exactly as needed game". Elite 3ball shooting and hard defense.
2) Joseph on 5 assists and zero TOs
3) Carter on a lunchpail 12-8 game. Those boards mattered!
Mini-balloon for Houstan. Nice stats, but even with him on the court, he wasn't really part of the 3rd quarter explosion. Not really lolli-worthy. But nice box score.
p.s. Harris broke his zombie streak as he scored 1-point.

Good all over the lineup. Franz gets the vest for star stuff...
Paolo of course...for star stuff and making tough shots look easy
AB looking like a very poised, confident player
WCJ pulling down BIG boards in traffic at the end
KCP making an impact too
sad for Goga circling the drain and TdS fading as well

When AB plays well.... We essentially have a chance to win many games. His consistency is the issue. And that might rise and fall with who we are playing against.... And that's fine.... He is in year 2. Consistency and confidence will continue to grow as his experience does. And soon that consistency will be a part of who he is on most nights ... Which will take us to a new level. Hoping that the plan is to swap AB and KCP in the future and on the court and maybe even salary wise.
minus the gimme points that we would have expected at the rim... WCJ had another awesome game. He might not have always won the defensive battles against lebron or Luka... But he did amazing moving his feet and sticking with them in a way that most centers can't. Loved his intensity in the 2nd half after slow start in the beginning. If he maintained this level of intensity all game.... He would be a walking double double again.
