V - Franz for absurd 2P FG% and great AST:TO. Driving ability is ridiculous.

C - Paolo for looking like the big bad wolf to guard. He missed the Vest by not playing closer to rim with drives and shorter range shots in the 4th.

M - WCJ for correcting some of his rebounding woes mainly, and a few of his defensive woes too. Some of it was revenge offensive boards and putbacks but that's exactly what we needed after Paolo bulldozes down the lane drawing all attention. His post-game presser shows off his typical high IQ and ability to adjust over time. I forget he's still a younger type of player too.

Everyone was great too. David Steele was effusive in his praise towards Gary Harris and KCP. What huge defensive impacts from those two. AB looked like an All Star for a moment. Cole Anthony was the only player I have some criticism on, I think he got a little over-energetic and added too many 4th Q team fouls.
Ref'ing felt anti-Magic in my honest opinion. I was as perplexed as Steele and Turner on Cole's flagrant and many other foul calls. The refs had to correct like 3 calls in the last minutes that were initially anti-Magic calls, but the review didn't let them keep them. Celtic players crying about the Magic's physicality is either a big compliment before they win in 5 games or a crack in their armor for us to do something big here.

There is no doubt as to the 1-2-3 here.

My thoughts: I was fascinated that the whole second-half of the 4th quarter, Banchero deferred to F-Wagner. Clearly it was the correct decision. But maybe this team has two Batmans and no Robins.

That was pretty clearly Franz even with the several dumb 3s at the end, he was awesome apart from this. Leading scorer, several huge buckets late and crucially 8 assists to only 1 turnover, which against a top defence in a game where the refs really let them play and he had to generate his own offense all the time too in addition to having to create for others is extremely impressive. For comparison, Cole had 5 turnovers in 14 minutes. Tatum and Brown had 7 and 6 respectively, Paolo had 4.
