Was that other thread the longest running in this forum? I was quietly amazed at how many pages it was reaching…

That's a big deal over nothing. Haliburton would've taken the shot, too. Poole is just a whipping boy. We have too many players who don't shoot when they're open.

The cap is why he was traded.

Might be the longest I’ve seen in any forum.

He’s not Haliburton though. Most players shouldn’t be taking that shot.

They didn’t trade Klay who was starting to look washed though… they could have easily traded other pieces and kept Poole if they really wanted to.

I want to dig up a name we haven't heard in a while. Tyus Jones as a FA right now and for something less than 6 mil per. He takes care of the ball crazy good, like 5 assists to 1 TO. And shoots 3's great.

He's fine as a backup to help the team get into sets quickly.

As a starter he doesn't give much volume on threes, and will get hunted mercilessly on defense.

Poole is an upgrade. I ish something would happen already so I can stop reading about aprons and people bickering at each other like they know what they’re talking about.

You can stop anytime you want

See? People are all feisty. Where would I get my dose of absurd 8 team trade proposals?

Like somebody long time ago wrote on Wizards forum:
Poole is more valuable to them than others because:
1) he takes so many shots and that helps other young players not develop habits of overshooting
2) he is so bad that he helps tanking
3) he takes enough cap space to prevent them from getting better before they draft star

Basically guy is single man tank- God.

But posters think he will help you win

There’s real evidence from his Warriors stint that Poole can help you win — he played a key role in a title run, and that doesn’t just vanish because he was miscast on a tanking team.

Another Non sexy moves that improves our team and keeps us under the 1st apron this season and under the 2nd apron next season

#16 for #19+#26
Cole+jett+19 +46 for monk (Sacramento doesnt have a FRP, they can use #19 to get a PG like Traore, and get cole to fill Monk s role + get a chance to see if Jett is a bust or not)

Draft a big with #25 Raynaud or Fleming
Draft Clayton with #26

Suggs, AB, Clayton
KCP, Monk,Vet min
Franz,TDS,Houstan
Paolo,JI,Moe
WCJ,Goga,Raynaud

once Moe is back, we trade goga for Royce O'neal

Suggs, AB, Clayton
KCP, Monk, Vet min (could be Gary harris)
Franz,Royce O'neal, TDS
Paolo,JI,O'neal,Houstan
WCJ,Moe,Raynaud

We still have our 2026 (likely to be a lotto)

All it took is best PG of all time , top 10 defender in modern history and top 10 shooter ever to unlock him :D

Massive injection of BBIQ...One Crazy Summer...Fear no team in the East

#1
ORL sends: KCP, Goga, #25, #46
ORL gets: Reaves, Kleber (exp), Vincent(exp)

DAL sends: Gafford
DAL gets: Goga, Knecht, #46
Why DAL: Goga provides a less expensive backup to Lively, Knecht is a high-upside offensive prospect to space for Kyrie/AD- young Klay?

LAL sends: Reaves, Knecht, Kleber, Vincent
LAL gets: KCP, Gafford, #25
Why LAL: Reaves is the most valuable player in the deal, but they are inherently better prepared to contend.

#2
ORL sends: TdS, Gary Harris, #16
MIN sends: Divincenzo, #31
MIN looks to save cap by adding two viable rotation players for the price of one and a significant pick upgrade for this summer. They hope Dillingham and Shannon are also ready to contribute more and TdS helps with the likely loss of NAW. #16 (and their #17) might also be a factor in a Durant pitch.

#3
ORL sends: Cole Anthony, Jett Howard, ORL 26 frp (with swap), #56
BRK sends: #19 & #26
BRK utilizes cap space and unloads excess frps (they have 4) for a big bet on a likely lottery pick next summer. Incoming salaries are expiring so, they get a one year look at homeboy Cole Anthony as tank commander and undeveloped prospect Howard and kick their big UFA summer down the road.

ORL drafts Cedric Coward at #19, Raynaud at #26, and Drake Powell at #31

WCJ, Raynaud, (Moe) Isaac
Paolo, Isaac, Kleber
Franz, Coward, AB
Suggs, AB, Powell
Reaves, DDV, Vincent

I just love Reaves and DDV as fierce versatile competitors and high IQ decision-makers who can spread the floor. Kleber and Vincent are both capable of big moments but are primarily seen as relatively large expirings , which helps with Paolo's new deal and Reaves inevitably declining his PO...Reaves is a near-perfect fit on this young tough roster, but there would have to be some discussion about an extension and his interest in ORL before pulling the trigger. I would certainly hope to retain Moe on a re-worked deal but if he's a cap casualty-we'd have to live with it. On the whole, we're taking back less than we bring in, so perhaps this opens the MLE as well ...Would love NAW, but might be seen as unnecessary with Suggs, AB, and Coward incoming.

1) I think it will take a little more, but I’m game if their game lol

2) I would pass, don’t think DDV has this kind of value.

3) Coward is projected mid first round, I doubt he’s available at 19.

Overall not a bad roster and would be happy with the outcome.

Laker has been searching for a big man who can defend and shoot. How is about this trade

Orlando receives Austin Reaves, Dalton Knecht, Maxi Kleber( expire contract) and future First.

Laker receives KCP and Wendell Carter Jr

Magic can dump KCP’s contract.
