I know he wasn't the most popular player - he will def get hate on this thread but he was great for the locker room and I know all of the players will miss him.

He also did a ton of work in the community which was great to see. I wish him well.

I love how Cole was always 1st to reach out to our draft picks. He made Goga feel welcomed even though he is a little socially awkward.

Cole loved being here. Cole gave it his all.

I’m sad to lose all that. Hope he can find his way.

I’m really going to miss his personality here. He really made things lively and we had some good wins because of him. I wish him all the best in Memphis and hope he finds the role that will allow him to be consistent.

I'm sure his teammates are heartbroken. Cole, Jalen, and Franz were all on that first summer league together. Cole came up with OnlyFranz.

Nothing but best for Cole. I always appreciated him and what he brings to the table when at his best.

His play was inconsistent, but damn did he bring good chemistry, was a fantastic teammate and good in the community. For a player's kid, he didn't have an ego either. He had his moments on the court too. I appreciate what Cole did here. I'd say he hit his ceiling in terms of on-court play, but his presence will be missed for team chemistry. I'm glad we dealt him in the offseason rather than midseason so we didn't lose our hype guy mid season.

Cole cared and that's not insignificant.

I wish him the best over the rest of his career.

Hope he gets cut and we can sign him for a min deal. Great human and I am going to miss his post game interviews.

He really cared and had big heart. Could never put a consistent stretch of games and there was always something outside bastball distracting him. Hope he finds what he really is looking for.

Cole gave the Magic a lot of heart and some wildly entertaining moments of basketball (that Miami comeback still ranks in the all-time wins). He came in at the end of the Vuc era, transitioned us into the Franz and Paolo era, and now he moves on as we transition into our championship era. Thanks for everything, Cole.
