Now who is under the most pressure?
The front office made their move, betting we are so good the future picks will be low value and the Phoenix swap isn't catastrophic. Now the pressure switches to the team. Who do you think will be feeling the most pressure in 2025-26?

Mos no longer has a safety net. Hopefully we can get him a solid offensive assistant.

There still may be more moves to come, but I now have a keen eye on Mosley to see if he can turn this offense around with better player(s) at his disposal.

Mosley by a pretty wide margin.
If this season goes poorly, he'll get fired.

Suggs and Franz are already getting paid. Paolo too pretty much. All 3 put pressure on themselves.
Player wise you could say AB. I’m pretty sure some team is going to pay him if we don’t.

Yeah…there’s no plan B…if Bane ends up standing in the corner yelling “Paolo, I’m open”, Mose is, rightfully, gone.
Bane is a significant playmaker…I was quite ignorant of how much more he does than shoot. Not a clear cut PG, but a lot of collective playmaking to work with- not necessarily an easy coaching assignment. It’s easy to hand it to CP3 and say “Go”…this is Tex Winters territory. Big ballsy move…it’s on Mose now. I’d really like to see some high IQ vets brought in, even just for osmosis…if Jingles can jog-go get him!
I wonder if Taylor Jenkins is too big a HC prospect to talk to? I don’t want Mose looking over his shoulder, but s**t just got real in ORL

Our offense needs to be cooking by game 30? Or it could get real out. Some solid coaches currently out there though they may be gone by then.

Re: Now who is under the most pressure?
I voted Mosley. The offense is his problem to solve.
After him:
2. Paolo: expected to make an all-nba jump, but as a 23 year-old he still gets more patience than the coach
3. Franz: fix the jumper and make an all-star game
4. Suggs: health plus incremental playmaking is gravy
5. AB: important bench role, yet on a cheap rookie scale; least heat of the options

Re: Now who is under the most pressure?
Might be more interesting to re-field this with just players?
If I was picking a player I would vote Paolo - he has to become the clear Alpha IMO and re-establish himself in the young superstar hierarchy ahead of Cade, Jalen Williams, and Chet

Definitely Paolo...he's still the #1 but he has to show that he can excel in a more democratic offense. The skillset is there. The icy demeanor and fierce competitiveness is there...it's not a given that Alpha Dogs can easily adapt to sharing.
When people talked about bringing in Lamelo or Trae and hoped they'd share the ball more and play more off-ball...that's NEVER going to happen and shouldn't...that's just taking away who they are and who they've always been. I don't think it's a character flaw-it's how they can best contribute...It's important to recognize that it's easy to defend the "selfish" player who has a crappy supporting cast, but it's not automatic that they can play any other way.
I think Paolo can and will...but it's not something to take for granted.

I voted Franz because if he can get a league average shot it opens everything. Not least the chance he can be the lead initiator - which he proved he is probably the best at of our drafted core 3. BUT, if as you say Paolo sulks over giving up usage that throws a big spanner in the happy family dynamic.

Out of those options: Suggs to stay healthy, or he’s going to be shipped out.
But it’s still Jeff. This isn’t done.

Near unanimous that Coach must deliver. Right now.

I totally disagree. AB’s play is going to determine if he gets 10 million or 29 million a year on his next contract. The other 3 players are set contract wise. This is AB potential contract year if he signs his extension next offseason.

Re: Now who is under the most pressure?
I voted Franz but really the finger can go anywhere.
In terms of coach. My guess is people and the org are giving him a pass due to injuries. I think at some point he lost the team and then found them again. Mose and the front office right now are going to be the ones feeling the heat.
Either way I spin this, say all 4 players fix their shortcomings a little bit, Franz shoots 33 / Paolo becomes more efficient and we still lose due to lack of modern NBA spacing center - I would say we are still hypothetically in a good position to tweak the roster and keep going between Paolo, Franz, Bane, Suggs, Black you have an interested nucleus of players where you still technically have trade chips if you think thats the problem.

Not on the option list but I’m going with Jeff and Parker. This is the blueprint they envisioned. If it doesn’t succeed, they have to be held accountable.

Re: Now who is under the most pressure?
how about the training staff???
We can't afford our top 4 returning scorers to mis 48% of the games. (PB, Franz, Suggs and Mo)
I'd then go with the young'ns, Black, Jett and Da Silva will have pressure to contribute effectively.

Ots coach Mos.
Cmon... Paolo Franz Suggs.. they know they are getting paid big time no matter what happens next season.
This time.. Team opened its checkbook, mortgage its future assets, made the perfect team to complement each other ( at least the first 5 ) Now its all on Mos.
