They play games all day basically. Magic just got some evening tips on the East Coast.

That’s great. I’m usually trying to watch during work.

Decent PG matchups for Jase depending on who plays

Kings- Devin Carter
Raptors - Jamal Shead, if he plays that is probably the best test of ball-handling prowess possible.
Thunder- Topic
Nets- Traore, Demin, Saraf all potentially could see PG reps

Not yet.

Confirmed names...

Jase Richardson

Zach Freemantle
Johnell Davis
Márcio Santos

Da Silva will probably play too.

Hope Jett and Tristan are on the team... Black stays in the gym.

With the Nets PG all 6'5 and taller.. we will see how Jase handles it. If he gets eaten alive or not

Correct.

One is Brazilian and one is American.

Confirmed summer league invites that are not already part of the Magic organization...

-Johnell Davis
-Nate Santos
-Márcio Santos
-Zach Freemantle

Here's what I know about each guy...

Johnell Davis
24 years old (May 2001)
6'4" with a 6'8" wingspan and 206 lbs
Davis was the leading scorer for Florida Atlantic in 2023 and 2024, winning American Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2024. FAU somewhat famously went to the Final Four in 2023 and made the tournament in 2024. Davis explored staying in last year's draft, but Arkansas and Coach Cal came calling with an NIL offer for more than $1M and he took it. Unfortunately for him, he struggled with a wrist injury and just had a very poor season with the Razorbacks. He got invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and played really well there, averaging 21.3 PPG on .522 FG%. That got him an invite to the G-League Elite Camp.

Nate Santos
23 years old (November 2001)
6'7" with a 6'9 1/2" wingspan and 216 lbs
Santos was a two-year reserve wing at Pitt before transferring to Dayton and becoming a starter. This guy can really shoot the ball. In each of his two years at Dayton he made 41.8% of his threes on heavy volume (122/292). That alone is an intriguing enough data point to make me interested. Some folks thought he could have potentially been drafted and that he definitely should be in the mix for a two-way contract. He also played in Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and G-League Elite Camp, but wasn't quite as productive as Davis was.

Márcio Santos
22 years old (November 2002)
Listed 6'9" 254 lbs - hard to find accurate measurements on guys who didn't attend any sort of official combine
This Santos is Brazilian, was eligible for the 2023 NBA Draft when he was 20 years old, but went undrafted. He's played the last two years with Ratiopharm Ulm in the German Bundesliga where he was teammates with first round picks Noa Essengue (12th overall to Chicago) and Ben Saraf (26th overall to Brooklyn). He was Ratiopharm Ulm's starting center and averaged 8.7 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 1.1 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.3 BPG while shooting .541 FG .333 3PT, .696 FT.

Zach Freemantle
24 years old (October 2000)
6'9" with a 6'8 1/2" wingspan and 226 lbs
Freemantle played his entire SIX year college career at Xavier. He played 4 years + 1 additional year because of COVID while also missing one full year because of a foot injury. He's a highly experienced and productive college PF. Like Davis and Santos, Freemantle got an invite to the Portsmouth Invitational and earned a spot on the all-tournament team after averaging 15 PPG on 73% shooting (19-of-26). He's a grown adult, just four months away from turning 25 years old and knows generally just knows how to play basketball. Probably not much upside though.

Guys from the organization who are definitely and/or most likely playing...

Jase Richardson - 2025 1st rounder
Noah Penda - 2025 2nd rounder
Tristan Da Silva - 2024 1st rounder
Ethan Thompson - 24-25 two-way player

I would be surprised if Jett played tbh.

Tristan is either prepping for German NT camp, or he’ll be at Summer League.
