I Ve been told that Caleb was told that if he doesn't get a contract offer from another NBA team, we would offer him a 2 way contract.
Caleb is still eligible for a 2 way contract

Apparently Jeff is very confident that it s gonna happen

Maybe the Magic have already offered him more than the min in a 2-way

Again... we cant do that because we will be over the 1st apron...

Unless you mean a *wink wink* under the table deal?

Which is kinda hilariously stupid of us risking that for a player like Caleb. Prime Lebron sure but Caleb?

He is probably better than some other scrub hanging around other teams roster.

He is a nice 15th player. But all in all that’s not really important.

Time will tell if he was right or not but he seemed legit (close to Glushon Sports) , but as we all know, the magic don't leak anything

We ll see

The problems with a 2 way are game limits and no playoffs. I suppose we could make a move during the season that opened up some space to convert to a minimum.

I am kind of surprised he's hasn't gotten signed. On a functional offense he might be a very good shooter (i kind of expect KCP and Cole to shoot > 40%).

he's just not a very connective player. One of the worst in the league in assist % and rebound %. 1.9 2pt attempts per 100 possessions. and 1.1 FT attempts per 100. He is Three only and ok D. Maybe 3rds string wing is the right role for him, but he's not a rotation player on a good team....unless he is capable higher volume and makes of Threes, which he could be. The Magic's low tide offense stunk for all.

The Magic choose Penda over Houstan. Can’t say I blame them with the skill set Penda has shown in summer league.

May as well change the title to the Appreciation thread.

Caleb has the prettiest shot. His defense improved, but he did a lot of holding. He doesn't have fluidity or a handle. It feels like we're getting away from any players who don't handle the ball.
