Quite a deflating start to the season.

So many missed FTs, 3’s and TOs. Team defense sucked.

seeing it in person was fun, but tough to watch tonight. I'm so sick of seeing WCJ, he's not fast enough for the pace we're trying to play and his mental lapses will always happen, he won't grow out of them at this point.

They are the same every game. Banchero is the main problem since he got here. Yes WCJ should never start and Mosley is subpar coach but its nothing compared to building your offense around not good enough player. Man it was Ingles biggest joke to trick our front office into thinking we are good

Blacks play in a vacuum was bad.

While we can criticize the continued offensive woes of Mosley the more concerning part is the fact that we have given up multiple 120+ games to start the year. This did not happen last year. Is the faster pace wearing guys out where its giving up points in other end? this is what paolo stated in the post game interview. Is bane defense overrated? he didnt looks great vs maxxey and VJ but few teams are going to. The bigger concern is the lack of pain defense. Paolo is not great paint defender and when dell cant make up and plays soft like yesterday, teams get to the paint at will on us. there are alot of holes to fill aready this early in the season. not a good sign.

No KCP and less JI. We have worsened our defense while offense is still in the same hands. Last year Oklahoma had #1 defense with #5 pace. Not a good excuse.
Yes my pain defense is also very weak.

Faster pace leads to higher scoring per game even if per possession the defence remains the same. Against Miami, a very high paced game, our DRTG was 108 which is lower than our defensive rating for last season, even though Miami scored 121 points.

The defence this season has been fine statistically until last night's game where it was a disaster.

I think one of AB or Suggs should get attention given their guards torched us. I chose AB because he played more minutes.

I blamed Mosley but really he's adjusting. Tyus now down to 10 minutes. That's the right trend.

I'm curious why Penda had two first half stints. Lots of instability with rotations even considering Suggs ramp up.

We had five runs: 9-0, 8-3, 5-0, 9-0, and 9-2. AB was on the court for 4/5. He's frustrating but he's a winning player.

76ers had six runs: 12-2, 14-2, 14-5, 7-1, 5-0, 17-7. AB was on the court for 3/6 and caught parts of two others. So maybe he's just getting lots of minutes.
