Orlando Versus Houston 1/4/08

Orlando Vs Houston
Orlando lost thier last game versus the Nets by one point. The Magic had control of the game until the fourth quarter when our old friend Darryl Armstrong decided to let us know just how much we miss him. He spurred a comeback and the Nets won it with a little help from the men in black pants.
Houston comes into days game with only one of thier two superstars. Often injured Tracy Mcgrady is down once again and it will be up to Yao Ming to try to win one in Orlando.
Probable starting lineups
Orlando
Carlos Arroyo
Keith Bogans
Hedo Turkaglu
Rashard Lewis
Dwight Howard
Houston
Raefer Alston
Luther Head
Chuck Hayes
Shane Battier
Yao Ming
The matchup goes without saying
Yao vs D-How
Dwight got the best of Yao last time. Beating him up and down the court and just out working the big man from China.
Look for the Magic to come out early and try to put the Rockets away. The Magic should be wary of the Rockets bench. Bonzi Wells is coming of a 25 and 9 game against Boston and Scola is good big man off the bench.
The Magic looked great out of the box with Arroyo starting and Nelson seems to have taken to his role off the bench. My prediction is Orlando 101 and Houston 95.
thats all Magic Fans..please be kind ..I'm on dial up.

Magic build a big lead early. They get fouled on 4 straight posessions at the end of the half with no calls. The Rockets come down on those 4 straight posessions and get fouls called for them, giving them a free 8-0 run.
The Rockets have hope and momentum going into the second half and chip away at the lead and win in the final minutes of the fourth on free throws.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STUFF, TEAM BETTER WIN ONE FOR YOU!!!
That alone will make this game fun because there's always some wacky sh*t ongoing.
DON'T SLEEP ON THIS TEAM, they almost beat Boston without T-MAC.
Along with Yao, we need to stop Bonzi and Rafer.

i think dwight really gets up for games like this... hopefully it doesnt affect him negatively, with foul trouble.... i think shard and dwight have huge games tonight and get us the W we need at home.

Better include Luther Head and Mike James on that list, too.
And actually, I'm wondering if the fact that it's Stuff's birthday is a bad thing because they are having a giveaway for that tonight. I think they have lost most every game this season when it's been a giveaway night. Is the game a sellout? They tend to lose those, too.
I just want to see them play hard and well the entire game -- like they have show us they can -- and for the refs to give the Magic a fair shake. I don't want to walk out of the building tonight having watched another loss.

we should win this game. we won this game last time with hedo and rashard only having 13 points each. they also both shot 30% or less. and dwight had a below average game for him with just 21/11. despite playing against yao i expect howard to have a good offensive game, he is due for one.

I don't want the Magic to lose, but I would LOVE to see that!! Can't you do it with a win? I mean, maybe out of ... over-aggressive happiness?

We better get it together at home already! Since I don't live in Orlando anymore I can't go to the games...but what is it with our homecourt? It shouldn't be such a friendly place for the visiting team

The only reason I can see the Refs wanting to teach us a lesson in this one is because TMac used to play for us and he is injured so we should get punished for that one. Oh yeh and we traded Steve Francis and he is injured so we could be in big trouble tonight.

Yet another game I won't get to see thanks to FSN and cable.
