1. redd is a good offensive player who hogs the ball.
2. not much of anything else.
3. it would not be smart to trade hedo who can do much more for redd just because he (redd) can score more.
only 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists shy of yet another triple double - anonymous

I think the Magic need Hedo's rebounding and ball handling skills on this particular roster. There aren't a lot of guys who actually can move the ball.

I'm surprised that story says that they might look to keep only Yi and Bogut. I'd keep Redd and look to trade Bogut if I were them.

^^

totally agree. right now, beyond Dwight, Hedo is the only guy you can count on to push the team. and Dwight wouldn't be involved half as much if Hedo wasn't finding him and feeding him the ball.

i personally wouldn't get rid of Hedo because he IS this team's chemistry.

but i agree that Redd would be a good addition, by giving us a legit SG, allowing us to play a legit PF. but i still feel we're a better team with Hedo on the court.

Redd for Lewis would be nice...at least we would finally get that scorer but i doubt it works out because of lewis's contract. Miller also seems like he would be a huge upgrade at the PG spot. What about like PJ brown and Webber? We could use them at the C and put dwight at the PF or vice versa

The proposed trade is great for the Magic. However unlikley, but great.

1. if only redd was slightly less potent on offense.
2. he would be the excellent vinnie johnson part two.
