OT: Brighthouse advertising on this board

Anyone noticed the last couple of days that Brighthouse is trying really hard to advertise on this board. Everytime i pull up the page all ads space is taken up by Brighthouse. I thought that was weird. Could it be they are focusing on Orlando Magic boards like this one due to the Brighthouse/FSN coldwar fiasco? Maybe trying to win back those custumers who jumped ship because of the FSN situation? Coincidence?

Sort of off-topic, but whenever I see that dumb, condescending BrightHouse commercial where they're like "we've got your Magic right here!" all I can think of is the guy doing the voice-over grabbing his crotch as he says it.

Britehouse, FSN, and the Magic can all put it where the sun don't shine.

All 300 apparently.

Orlando, for a big city, is turning out to be a media pathetic sports town.

The only sports station radio station can not be heard but by a few after dusk.

An NBA team that sold it's rights to a network that has no broadcast partner.

A broadcast partner that refuses to embrace the only professional team in town. Of course, they must continue to protect the majority of public interests with the overload of shopping, spanish, news, and public channels that clog the dial.

A newspaper that has a sports section of 5 pages, 3 of which are filled with half page "picture articles" or ads. They don't even print HS box scores for football nor basketball. I understand the need for ads, but where has all the content gone?

I was talking to Jeremy Fowler (the golf writer for the Sentinel) a couple of weeks ago, and it was implied that more cuts are coming with the newspaper.

Oh well, sorry for the rant.

A friend thought he heard (yeah yeah hearsay) that 105.9 was changing format to sports talk. They're not playing hard rock anymore, so it may come about.
