I know Diener had his own thread on this board when he was with the Magic, so many of you may be happy to hear he's got a career high 19 points tonight versus the Kings (game is not quite over as I write this)

Meanwhile, Kevin Martin makes his return and goes 7-7 from the floor & 10-10 from the line, before missing a short jumper just a second ago.

Kevin Martin just missed a driving layup. Diener then comes uop the court, drives and kicks to a Pacers teammate who bounces in a 3-poitner

Diener is such a gym rat, always working on his game, that he should survive in the NBA as a 5-8 year player. Amazing for a guy who has absolutely no special talents. He is living the dream!

Your right.....
Diener is getting paid 200 million over 6 years.
Trade wouldn't be possible.

Hell yes, I am so glad to hear this for him. I remember a recent story about how he was struggling and getting little playing time, so great to see him get out there and put together one of the best games of his young career. Congrats Diener!
But, his career high didn't come against the Magic? Odd. We hand out career highs like $120 million contracts.

I dunno what you count as special talents in your neck of the woods drsd, but where I'm from, parting the Red Sea with one hand and your hair with the other is pretty damn special!
