I read the game thread for your game vs. Utah and it was unbelievable. I realize the ref crew was bad, alright? I viewed the game as an unbiased spectator and could tell the officiating was pretty bad on both ends. How often do both Boozer and Okur foul out? Give me a break. Upon review, both teams had the same number of personal fouls, even after several were called on the Magic in the 4th to play catchup. Unbelievable.

I respect your team but you're the most ignorant fans I've ever seen. YOUR TEAM lost the game last night...NOT the zebras. How do you shoot 90% free throws the first 3 quarters and miss everything in the 4th? You absolutely had a chance to win that game and you didn't take it. It's called choking. When you guys start blaming multiple losses on officiating, it's time to look at your team and realize you may not even be as good as your (withering) record indicates. Make a change or man up to it.

I don't know how you almost beat a team who is as good at home as Utah (15-3) with possibly the worst starting back court in the entire NBA, but you had the chance. Every team goes through bad calls EVERY GAME and they get over it because it's part of the game and at least the bad officiating is evenly distributed. Your homer goggles are just so thick that you don't pay attention to phantom calls and no calls that help YOUR team win. I promise you, the NBA isn't trying to ruin your season.

STFU you dont follow this team so u dont know how this team has been screwed for the past week and a half by refs, specially the Crawford, Washinton and Corbin ref trio. Its the reason why Stan and the Magic players were in boiling point. BTW, im not blaming the loss on the refs.

i'll agree to an extent. Magic fans do tend to hate on the refs more than most, and perhaps we're just looking for someone to blame. But at the same time i do feel the officiating in the NBA is the worst it's been in a long time, maybe even ever.

I've pretty much been staying away from the game threads once the game starts. I'll go in after the game, but if we lose I tend to stay away from realgm at least till the next day. The game threads are really bad, but it's mostly because fans are overreacting at the time, and reacting to every call.

Now, if you waited till after the game it wouldn't be so bad. People would say the officiating sucked, but they wouldn't seem like raving lunatics.

No, it's that its not a big deal enough to warrant a thread, some people will always bitch. Not all of us are blaming the refs, they have been bad but whatever, no need for a thread

Of course a Pistons fan is going to see it this way, they're one of the most ref pampered teams in the NBA. Don't get me started on Chauncey Billups.

Well he does have some what of a point. The ref whining around here has been at an all-time high as of late.

But on that note, Ascheier, I find it very ignorant of you to label our entire fanbase just because of the words/actions of some posters. Remember, we have one of the biggest fanbases on RealGM. Not everyone here agrees on the same views and issues.
