OT: Cowboys lost, bash away.

Alright...the whole NFL season I talked about how great my Cowboys were and that we would win the Super Bowl.
My bragging has now back fired on me...feel free to bash away. Not only did we not win the Super Bowl, we didn't even make it to the NFC Championship game.

I'm a Redskins fan, so this moment should be sweeter...
...but I thought Dallas was the only team that could beat the Patriots. And that would have been one hell of a Super Bowl.

I'm just glad the Giants won because it gives Farve and the Packers a better shot at advancing to the Super Bowl, in theory.
I want the Packers to win the SB because of Farve, but I also want the Patriots to win because a perfect season would be pretty damn awesome. Tough call for me right now.

Maybe Romo shouldn't be partying it up in Mexico was it? During the off week when he shouldve been preparing. Just another playoff loss for him and Phillips.

DOY,
You're a bigger man than I am for starting this thread. When my 'skins lost, I curled into a ball and cried myself to sleep. And anyone who talked $!@# about it was going to get 'bowed.
Respect.

I think the media made WAY too big of a deal about Romo and some players going to Mexico to relax for a few days.
Because it's the Cowboys, and because it has to do with someone like Jessica Simpson, the media made a story out of what should have been ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't even really care about Romo or the Cowboys, but damn, that was just wrong the way they've been trying to turn nothing into something just to sell more papers. They went and relaxed for a couple days, then came back ready for action. Big f-ing deal, end of story.

Well you do open yourself up for criticism when you are partying in another country during the off week, only to come out and lose at home in the playoffs when you're heavily favored.

Why would anyone bash Romo for goin to Mexico with Jessica Simpson? I woulda bashed him more if he had passed on that invite.

I'm not going to bash Romo on going to spend time in Mexico with a hot celebrity singer chick. Hell if that opp came my way I'd do it too, especially if it was on T.O.'s dime. It's funny with T.O. crying like he had just watched We are Marshall....Wmmmm That's my Quarterback man WMmm. When he said that both Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia ran there cars into trees.

Personally I dont care, i just think some media will criticize him for it. As the QB/leader he should be focused on his team during the playoffs, not partying. Regular season is another story, but I can see why some may criticize his decision making.
And btw.. ding 2000 posts
Im now a Real GM, whatever that means

yeah im glad the Packers will be playing at home next week. Living in MN and so close to the WI border half of my colleagues are Packers fans, and more importantly so is my boss. Its always an easier day at work when your boss is in a good mood.

Always nice to see the cowpokes lose.
Biggest loser is NFL merchandising........ now racking up lost sales from all of the future bandwagon fans that would have been wearing their jersey.
But the biggest reason I am glad they lost is that the next game will be played in Green Bay, and about 10 degrees at game time.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr............
