Here come the vultures
No, Turkoglu has always been one of my favorite players, but we're just not good with him controlling the ball. He's getting too much love just because of his stats. There's a reason his +/- is -1.5. I just don't think the Magic can be consistent with Turkoglu or win with him trying to be the main man. Trading Arroyo is even better though.

+/- is not a very reliable stat. It depends on substitution patterns, etc. Hedo hasn't been "controlling the ball" in his recent slump, the 4th tonight was a matter of him pressing and just trying to get out of a slump. As a matter of fact, a great many of his shots in general have come in the 4th when his scoring and playmaking was needed. You look at his shot totals in the 1st quarter over the past month or so, he has shot very little. I think people here make generalizations based on the tide at the moment (unless you're karizma or Toonice). Happened when Rashard was slumping, now it's happening with Hedo slumping. If Hedo's slump does have something to do with Rashard's reemergence (which I doubt, I think it's simply a matter of him feeling snakebitten at the moment), I'm sure he'll adjust. I mean he really has had terrible luck lately with shots rimming out (his first shot tonight went in and out), getting fouled with no calls, etc. It's mental right now.
