They just beat the celtics the second time in a row
How would the wizards fare against them in a 7 game series

I'm more worried about how they are closing in on the Magic in the standings. If they win tomorrow against the Knicks (and how can they not? and they have back to back games with the Knicks, by the way) and the Magic lose, they Wizards are only a half-game back. They already have tied the Magic in the loss column, but they've just played three fewer games. I hope they have the Magic's attention as much as ours.

Caron Butler just literally took over the fourth quarter. He could not be stopped. He powered to the basket and got fouled on every single possession pretty much (except this one 3-pointer that DeShawn hit to put them up or tie it near the end of the game).

Wiz fan here. It should be a fun race between the Wizards and Magic towards the Division title.

I think the Wizards are doing what the Magic did early, getting really hot, lol. I expect the Wizards to fall back to earth in a little bit and struggle. Hopefully the Magic than get back on track.

It could become an interesting race when everyone counted the Wizards out cause Arenas went down.

IMO, as of right now, Wizards > Magic. We're not a very good team until we can work out some of our issues.

It could be an interesting race, on who wants Arenas in FA Market. Especially after seeing Washington doing very well without him all season long. This is almost like Houston, they play ALOT better without TMac. Same for the Wizards. And that goes to my theory of certain players just being very very selfish, and not really helping their team. I also think Denver would be alot better without Iverson.

Denver tried that already. They've got a better record now.

Wasn't it Iverson who hit like a bajillion free throws the other night?

Well people have their own opinion, not going to argue with that. Let me ask you this we all know T-Mac says Houston is his team. But when you think of Houston do you think of T-Mac or do you think of Yao first? And who do you believe is the go to guy? I personally think of Yao when I hear the Rockets, I think Yao is "The Guy" down there in Texas. I think Houston is Yaos team. Now ask yourself this do you really think TMac is happy playing 2nd fiddle? Think of Kobe and Shaq. Everyone was saying Shaq this Shaq that, you think the bothered Kobe? Obviosuly it did. To me it is having the same effect on him with Yao. He wont be happy until he has his own team again. And do you think the Rockets would ever part with Yao?

I thought this was going to be a thread about how we need to pick up Darius Washington since the Spurs dropped him. Although I'm sure it's going to get started now that I brought it up.

T-Mac wanted to play with a big man. He got his wish. I think he might just be toying with people, and he is fine in Houston (just injured). He and Gil are a lot alike in that respect. They love the drama. It's part of what is entertaining about them.

Wiz fan here. I hope we can stay pace with you guys to the end but it will be difficult because you guys have more margin for error. I disagree with the guy who said that we will soon fall back. Were deep and we still have a ton of talent. Our biggest problem is that we only have AD as a PG. Since our 0-5 start we are 20-11 but in that same stretch we were 3-4 without AD. As long as he stays healthy then we can win alot of games but without him we are in trouble. The sad part is that he missed 7 games which were all very winnable to us. If he was there then we probally wouldve won all 7 instead of 3.

The biggest difference between us now and in the past is that we have more big men and there all playing great, we are super deep right now after always beeing just a 6 deep team, and we are playing some of the best D in the league after bringing in Randy Ayers from Philly. We do have one "maybe" problem that Im getting scared of. Our 1st round pick from last year just came back. He's from the Ukraine and stayed over there last year. This year he broke his ankle in the preseason and has just started playing for the 1st time. Now there is word that Etan could practice in this next week. Im worried that we will have too many guys and EJ wont manage the minutes right. We could use Etan's toughness but I think most Wiz fans dont want to see him come back this year. We are fine with Wood, Blatche, Songaila, and the Pecherov kid I was talking about. I could see guys minutes getting cut and people complaing. You definatly cant cut Blatche or Wood's minutes the way these guys are playing. This could hurt us

Very good point. It can be looked at in two ways though. I think that after achieving 3 rings while never getting credit from the public especially when he was beefing with Shaq is the reason Kobe wanted to prove his own worth.

Tmac should remember that he claimed that he wanted help to achieve something in this leage. Also how would it look for him to be promoting "It takes Five", yet he is truly being selfish and worrying about who is the man. I think that IF this is true, that Mac knows that if he is moved it will be EAST and that maybe now he can do damage in a weaker conference wheras the WEST was too much for him.

I said that because were without our best player. On top of that if AD goes down then we are solid but will lose games that we shouldnt while you guys probally have a solid backup for every spot except for Howard obviously
