Hopefully this game was a sign that he'll be okay.
Hopefully it's just a regular cold and not a recurrence of the Turkoflu.

it could just be a flu? doesn't mean it'll be here for the rest of the season.
although, if it does hang around for a while, i really will start to wonder if it's indeed Hepatitis or something else as serious. not jumping to any conclusions right now though.

its not only "just a flu", its the TURKOFLU. which seemingly lasts forever.

i think turkoglu probably just has a weak immune system so he gets sicker more than most. I'm not ready to say the turkoflu is back, hopefully it's just a bad cold that he gets over soon.

God, I hope not UCF, my immune system is compromised from anti-rejection drugs, so I know what it's like to pick up every bug flying around. I've been battling a flu-like bug myself for 6 weeks off and on. I hope Hedo just got that badass cold thats floating around, and next week he'll be back to normal.

it seems like turkoglu gets sick more then any other player in the league by far, lets just hope the turkoflu doesnt start happening during playoff times...

He looked like he got over it last night. Probably a normal cold.

Hope this is not happening again.

dude if hes still sick with the same thing from last year than hes got a serious problem.

well it is cold and flu season. Not to mention with all the road games the players end up breathing the same recirculated air on the plane (so colds get passed around easier).

He seemed to be over it yesterday..If he gets sick again tho..I'll be worried. But my whole family is sick right now. Maybe it's just a thing right now and like mentioned a regular cold.

DiplomaticMagic, I think it's probably just the time of year. There seems to be this super cold flying around. My whole family is sick too. Been a bad cold year.

The thing that I keep coming back to is that Hedo served time in the Turkish military. We've been known to give experimental immunizations to our soldiers over the years, God only knows what they do in Turkey. He didn't look sick last night, and had the finger roll working, but these constant recurring flu symptoms are not normal. Its usually a sign of some significant immune problem, like Max suggested. Playing this many games on this type of schedule is a real strain on the body, and unforunately there is a pattern with these press reports. We might need to cut his minutes going forward.

I hope its not the Turko-flu cause kiss any chances of trading him if it is.

Why do so many ORL fans give Hedo a pass on this? He does this seemingly every year and every year fans come on here and say, "Well, it's not his fault he's missing every shot he takes. He doesn't feel very good."
Give me a break, if the guy was that sick why doesn't he miss any games. Did the Dr. write him a damn prescription that says, "Keep shooting."?

You do know players play through the flu and rarely miss a game because of it, don't you?
i.e. Stephen Jackson just spent over a week playing with a big time flu that hurt his game a lot (and my fantasy team) in GS...
