No its intended to talk about the Gators great recruiting class. Who do you Gator fans think we will get next? Julio Jones? Jamie Harper? Brandon Harris?

so what, "ranks" are just something that bored fans like ourselves can argue about. Notre Dame has had a top 5 recruiting class for like 5 years now and they ain't done crap. doesn't mean anything to me.

UF still sucks though :clap:

Actually, FSU is said to be the leader for Harper and more likely than UF to get Julio Jones out of Alabama. FSU has a top 5 class as well, and are still in play for like 4 five star recruits (Jones, Harper, AJ Bryant, and Enrique Davis). Both will end up in the top 5, but the UF fan that started this thread may have a simular thread started about his post if FSU finishes as strong as they usually do in recruiting.

UF is ranked #6 on Scout and FSU is #9
UF is ranked #1 on Rivals and FSU is #5

That is for those noles who were chanting victory back in early december about their holy class and how they were "kicking our butts" in recruiting.

Rankings do matter. Look up the past champions and see that they usually have good classes. Doesnt guarantee championship but does guarantee that they will be in the thick of things unlike our fellow FL rivals.

FSU could easily pass UF. FSU usually has a better class than UF. And that should tell you just how much recruiting classes matter.

Yeah well yall have Bowden thats why yall havent done much with these players. Richt was the real coach up in tally. FSU is running off fumes with the decent class they are still getting. I agree you prob will get bryant and harper which i think would put u guys at 4 on rivals and #5 behind us whenever we get that final recruit to get us to #4 on scout. We are down 4 pts from #4 Ta&m.

Gators have had a consensus top 2 class the last 2 years. We are on the verge of having 3 straight top 2 classes in the Meyer regime, these are the only 3 classes that he's had a chance to build up. FSU hasn't been in the top 2 in either of the years.

Oh and Omar Hunter is the gem of this class.
