This according to NBA TV. I thought that was interesting considering its only half way. Makes u think just how putridly bad the Magic were last year in 3's despite the decent percentage.

Well with Grant Hill at the 2 your not gonna get a whole lot when our primary play is a Hill iso .

But no, its definatly something we wanted last year and we've got.

While I think we are overly using the 3, I'd rather do that than not at all. I'd still like to go back to more "basic" plays [or rather fundementals] and use our nice 60% shot that Dwight happens to possess.

Interestingly enough -

10 shots worth 2 pts at 60% = 12 points on 10 shots
10 shots worth 3 pts at 40% = 12 points on 10 shots

Now Dwight does get some And 1's which favors him, but there are still times where he gets fouled when not shooting and hit's 1 out of 2 giving Orlando just 1 pt that time down court..

The one big bonus that giving the ball to Dwight that 3 pt shooting doesn't though is that he gets the opponent into foul trouble..
