OT: WU-TANG!!

Post#1 » by happypedro12 » Fri Jan 25, 2008 4:25 pm

I saw the show last night at Firestone and it was great! there were about 4 acts on before, one of which included a group called holy-wheat-bread and this rapper named mad illz. Both of them were very good. Wu-Tang brought down the house though! Method, GZA, U-god, all the wu was there doin all their old stuff and the new stuff on their 8 diagrams album. lol as soon as method man came out he was smokin a blunt and sure enough, like 4 other ppl around me started lighting up. man tons of ppl, lots of girls, drugs, and wu-tang....it was a great night. SUPPORT THE WU!!!

Wu Tang Clan? Aren't most of those guys dead? They are sooo 1995 man. I guess you need illegal drugs to be able to listen to a bunch of 45 year old rappers.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

I had no idea they were still putting on shows. I used to listen to them almost 15 years ago. I assume ODB was there too?

its funny because im about as white middle class as you can get. But growing up (late teen years) I listened to Wu Tang, NWA, 2 Live Crew, Too Short, and Gravediggaz to name a few.

Gravediggaz were dope, they still put out an indie record or 2 every year, but they have been without Rza for a bit as well as Poetic (RIP)...
