AUBURN HILLS, Mich - Orlando Magic starting point guard Jameer Nelson will miss his fourth consecutive game tonight because of a strained tendon in his right foot.
Nelson said he had hoped to play against the Detroit Pistons, but he is still favoring the foot and did not participate in the club's shootaround today at The Palace.
Coach Stan Van Gundy said he did not know when Nelson would be back.
Nelson has had both a CT-scan and an MRI on the foot, and said it revealed no structural damage.
He is doubtful for the Magic's 1 p.m. game Sunday at Amway Arena against the Boston Celtics.
