I wouldn't feel comfortable trading Jameer, Dooling AND Arroyo. Who knows if Kidd would re-sign with the Magic? DA is not a starting PG. They don't want Jameer.

We can't trade our 1st round pick for this year. We traded last year's and you can't trade consecutive years

Kidd stated 3 week ago that he think Orlando is a FA wet dream and player would want to play with D12

Also I would trade Nelson if we got Kidd and Yes NJ would do it

No. I wouldn't. Not for someone his age.

Replace Dooling with Arroyo in the first trade, while also taking out the 1st round pick in 2008 and you got a deal.

Oh really, Leo? You been on the phone with Rod Thorn and Kiki Vanderweghe?

I think what you mean is the Nets fans who post on the Real GM board might make the deal.

Wrong no way no thanks. I have no idea why NJ would do this unless they had it in there heart to trade there big three as well. This is just silly.

Uhh ..why trade Jameer? Insert Battie, JJ and all of our expirings for Kidd that would work.

I would trade this years pick, however I would NOT trade next years. The chance of Miami being mediocre to bad is looking good. We have a good chance to stealing away another draft pick. If only Otis could have let US swap picks this year, we would be golden.

That would be up to Miami, not Orlando, so why would Miami want to do that?

I think you have the SVG pick issue wrong. I may be incorrect but I believe that Miami has the option to trade first rounders with us this year. Since we will probably have a better record than them they will not exercise that option. If they do not ecercise the option this year they have the option next year. They do not have to swap with us. If they chose not to swap with us the next year they get our second done deal.

Someone please clarify if Im wrong. Ive been meaning to get this straight for some time but just havent had the opportunity and it didnt seem important enough for its own thread.

Thanks

NJ would never do that. They can get much better for Kidd. Kidd is a top three point guard in the league. Sane people don't trade superstars for crap, the Magic don't have the pieces to get Kidd unless they are willing to trade Hedo.

I would neither of these trades, both leave us with 35 year old Jason Kidd and 41 year old Darrell Armstrong as our point guards. I think not. Kidd would be great, Jersey can take Arroyo, Redick, Bogans, Garrity a future first and the rights to Amway after we move for all I care, but Jameer and Dooling need to be here to back Kidd up.
