JJ Redick For Udonis?: JJ Redick wants out of Orlando. Magic GM Otis Smith says he's simply not listening to the idea. Informed sources say the HEAT are open to the idea of a Udonis Haslem trade to Orlando, but any deal would have to include JJ Redick to replace the missing shooter Miami let walk this summer in Jason Kapono.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I like JJ but Haslem fills a gaping hole. Fills it very nicely, as a matter of fact.

Hoopsworld AKA A Guy Named Steve is about as reliable as Peter Vecsey when it comes to NBA Rumors

Many years ago the O-Zone forum started a rumor about Ron Mercer's girlfriend living in Cleveland and the next day it was the feature article on Steve's site

These reports from Hoopsworld you have to take with a grain of sand but man that would be awesome for us. Haslem brings everything the Magic are missing at the big foward spot. More importantly he takes some of the defensive and rebounding pressure off of Dwight. Haslem, man we need him.

I thought Pat Riley was vehement about trading Udonis to us.
If that's the case, we'd have to give an arm and a leg to get him (not worth it).

Hoopsworld sucks balls, but it'd be awesome to get a deal with JJ and someone else for Haslem, Haslem is literally the perfect fit at PF for a reasonable cost and is realistic.

so good but it still wont happen. You just get the feeling that Otis is telling the truth about not trading JJ, or anyone else.

Miami not trading Haslem for JJ mainly in return. One if your Riley and you and SVG have similar system and philosophy what makes you think JJ can get minutes with you. We already know how Riley feels about interdivisional moves. If he did do a trade he would make the Magic pay double for Haslem.

Well we're a much better shooting team than they are, sans Redick.

Even so, Riley won't deal with SVG and the Magic

Hoopsworld is BS. I'd never believe that. At least not this deal. Salaries don't match and we'd have to take on Blount most likely

i'd do it, but i doubt its true.

yeah but kapono plays better defense (and thats just sad) which is why he can get on the court.
