Well its the only deal that works under salary cap!!!
So might have to pay alittle more than usual, only problem with having a good young team

Apparently I've read a rumor that Otis is sneaking about trying to get Mike Miller back in O-Town, so that's good news for anyone who wants him.
I don't like him though but won't get angry if we pick him up.

How are you going to play 3 quality SF at the same time?
OK they are versetile players but to play constantly out of position is hard & hardly efficient.

i agree that orlando needs to trade for mike miller. he's the perfect fit, being able to play some minutes as pg, being a great shooter and even more important being a great teamplayer and locker room guy. battie turns 32 in a few days, evans is 29, rashard is 28, hedo is 28, bogans is 28, dooling is 28 and nelson turns 26 in a few days. so all of orlandos more important role players are in their prime the next 3-5 years. so is miller (turns 29 in 2 weeks), as he would be the magics' missing puzzle to being a serious championchip contender.

those trades work aswell:
Mike Miller
for
J.J. Redick
Pat Garrity
Carlos Arroyo / Keyon Dooling
_______________________
Brian Cardinal
Mike Miller
for
J.J. Redick
Brian Cook
Pat Garrity
Carlos Arroyo / Keyon Dooling
(add draft picks or the rights to fran to make it work, if necessary)

Really I thought since he is 6-8 or something he played SF... I still can't imagine him chasing quick SG's but if you say so... Miller-Hedo-Lewis would create matchup problems I guess.

Also guys dont forget this is NOT the offseason Most trades have to be the same amount of players or 1 off
You cant trade 4 players for 2 players Most of the time it will put the teams over the 15 players allowed
Example- Cardinal and Miller for Garrity,Dooling,Arroyo,Redick
Just does not work Roster wise

If we got Miller the shooting would be insane.

Mike Miller looks like a gay. Don't want that on the team.

It'd be cool to land Miller and all...
I mean, I like him as a player, but in this scenario we're still not really filling a need.
We'd basically be adding another tall, sharp-shooting, swingman.

You are right but at the same time we would improve SG position. I think Miller/Evans rotation would be perfect. SVG said numerous times that SG position for our team has to produce rebounds and with Miller you get 6.8 reb/game. Also, over 50% FG, over 80% FT , 2.3 made 3s/game. Miller, Hedo, Lewis - talk about 3 point threat

I don't disagree.
I just think that, if we can, if we're going to give up some of our tradeable assets, that we'd be better off trying to fill our more pressing needs such as a legit power forward, rather than brining in yet another perimeter oriented swingman, albeit a very talented one.

But would rebounding from our two guard be such a pressing need if, say, we had a prototypical power forward?
Also, you can't really just transfer his rebounding rate across the two teams. We have the league's best rebounder, while Miller doesn't exactly play with the best rebounders, to say the least.
Man, it doesn't seem like that long ago that we were all psyched up for our all 6'8"1-3, of Hill, McGrady and Miller.

My point was that Miller is a great rebounder for a SG/SF position player. I hope you can agree with that. At what rate he would rebound in our team we would know only after you give him a chance. Most likely he would rebound less but that does not make him less valuable player.
While we can discuss what position player is more important for the Magic right now we can only agree that Miller is available and he would improve the team. I would be delighted if Haslem would be let go by Miami but no way Miami would help us improve. Zaza, well there is a reason he's not playing. To me Zaza played well when he gets to touch the ball every time otherwise he would disapear and that's exactly what happened to him this year. Also, I don't think aquiring Miller could prevent us from go after Zaza if you prefer him.
