Is he still hurting? Or is it that SVG doesn't want to mess with what has been working of late? Or is there something more to it... JJ/Jameer our two CPOY's not getting any time...

An article in the sentinel said Stan does not want to mess with the teams good run.

There are two issues here:

1) StM does not mess with a winning formula. For how horrible Arroyo has played, the Magic are 7-1 since he became the injury-starter.

2) Nelson is out of game shape. He is clearly not focused. For Philly, one can under stand that his heart was far outside the game of basketball.

But, yes, this was an DNPCD!

Could also be because Indy was lighting us up in the first half again and Jameer's defense isn't good enough. He'd probably rather use Keyon's energy to try and slow down Indiana on defense.

He didn't look anywhere near 100% since his return. I'm sure he'll be back soon though

if we continue our play, sit him for the rest of the season

It's rare for a starter to lose his job due to injury.

I still don't trust Arroyo. His stats look "good" but anybody that watches the game you can tell that he doesn't have a huge affect.. matter of fact, when we started 16-4 it was because our offense clearly ran better with Nelson, so I don't buy the 7-1 stuff. Sit Nelson until he is 100%, but do not sit him out the whole season.. I don't trust Arroyo in the playoffs.

Arroyo is pure garbage. Worst PG we have had since Tyronn Lue. Worse than Tyronn Lue...

Bring Back Jameer!!

Tyronn Lue sucked ass, as much as Arroyo makes boneheaded plays.. he'll never be worse than Lue.

Agreed. Lue even said "this team needs a PG" when he was the starting PG. I still laugh a little when I think about that quote...

I want him to play simply because the very moment he came back he looked for Dwight in transition. How many of our other players do that? He also seems to know where everybody is on offense and finds them pretty well.

Word.

Dwight could be sitting on the bench every single game, but if we were winning, I couldn't give a rats ass.

He seriously didn't look ready yet in that Heat game. More than once, when he planted to cut and make a play, I saw that leg pull up like his foot still was bothering him. I know what they are saying, but I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to come back so he could play in the Philly game. He just doesn't look right yet.

So Jameer didn't play again tonight. I'm not one for conspiracy theories (ok, maybe I am) but is it feasible that they are resting him so that he's 110% healthy and they could trade Dooling and Arroyo with no fear of relapse? Maybe the rumored Mike Miller, Kyle Lowry, Brian Cardinal for JJ and expirings trade? It would make it much easier to pull that trigger if there is no pain whatsoever for Jameer, thereby making not as perilous to have only 1 back-up PG?

There is no Mike Miller, Kyle Lowry, Brian Cardinal for JJ and expirings trade rumor. That is something made up by a Real GM poster.
