Orlando Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players

Earl Watson
Chris Wilcox

Outgoing Players

J.J. Redick
Keyon Dooling
Pat Garrity
Carlos Arroyo
08 First Round Pick
09 Second Round Pick

Seattle Trade Breakdown

Incoming Players

J.J. Redick
Keyon Dooling
Pat Garrity
Carlos Arroyo
08 First Round Pick
09 Second Round Pick

Outgoing Players

Earl Watson
Chris Wilcox

Why for Orlando:
Earl Watson is overpaid, but at least he is under contract for a couple more years and would be an ok back up for Nelson. Chris Wilcox would be a perfect fit to grab some rebounds and add a true power forward.

Why for Seattle:
Huge cash dump for them since they will be getting rid of watsons bad contract as well as loosing wilcox's. JJ redick is a decent prospect and getting a first and second round pick should be enough to seal the deal IMO

Wilcox is not that good and Watson is another Dooling.

Take Dooling out and you've got a deal. Watson and Wilcox could help this team significantly in terms of depth.

Earl Watson is averaging over 6 assist a game. He is NOT another Dooling.

i think watson and wilcox would definitely add some quality depth to our bench. but we are giving up way too much for that package. i might consider this if we don't include any picks.

This is exactly the kind of trade GM Smith ensures will not happen.
