I'm not surprised we don't have any magic players in the shootout especially when it came out that Rashard didn't want to join

however it is bazaar that Rip is in it as he is not known for his 3 pt shot..........although he has improved this year averaging 1 a game at almost 47%

but for his career he doesn't even average 1 3 a game and is down around 34%

Lewis could be defended, but he said no. Turkoglu is not in the top five in any 3 ball category. He should not be in.

yea turk might make the allstar game, if garnett or butler sit out. hamilton has taken only 92 threes, and Kapono 98..kapono has won, but suprised hamilton is in it..

They should have let Turk play in the 3 pt shootout because he was snubbed for the all-star game. Turk isn't participating in anything! Remember when Turk hit the game-winning shot in the three on three tournament in 2002?

I wonder if Rashard isn't in it because he didn't want to be, or because he wasn't invited.

I'm hoping it isn't the later, because he's certainly worthy. I'm hoping they contacted him and he declined opting to rest instead.

Dude, Nash is 4th in the league in 3pt%. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be there. He's just an all-around amazing shooter.

As for Kobe, well, because he's Kobe, I guess.

Rashard Lewis told me that he was invited by the league (through Magic GM Otis Smith) to participate in the all-star 3-point shoot-out, but declined, wanting to rest that weekend.
