over the last 15 days Dwight has gone from 15.2rpg to 14.6rpg and he's only averaging 12rpg in the last 8 games during that 15 day span...what's the deal homie?

Also, teams we are playing aren't missing as much either.

i feel like the teams weve played in this stretch have really been making a big time effort to keep him off the glass.... we are 7-1 in that stretch so let em go down....

I think he cares about his touches and his offensive numbers more. We need his rebounding and blocked shots way more than his offense.

Not enough offensive touches = lack of inspiration. Gotta keep the bigs happy. It's a rare bird that not only enjoys getting overlooked on offense, but finds motivation to run down their missed shots.

I've also noticed the drop in rebounding numbers. Is it because he cares more about his offense at this point? Why would his desire change mid-way through the season?

To go from 15.2 to 14.6 in about ten games is a large decrease in production. But over those games, the Magic have been winning. So .....
.... it's hard to complain.

Teams have been assigning a guy to try to keep him from getting up to grab the rebound. Sometimes they actually have hands on him holding him down, and the refs don't call the foul. Still, there are times when he just explodes over them anyway. Other times, he's at the top of the key and starts heading for the other end of the court as soon as the ball goes up. I think he needs some rebounding help anyway. It's too much to expect him to do more than half of the Magic's rebounding.

It is funny when we look at a 13 rebound night as sub-standard.

It's not his rebounds that worry me, it's his lack of hustle on D in the past couple of games. If Dwight is coming to play hard D, you know we have a big shot at winning that game. Last night his 5th foul really bugged me, that was a pussy foul by D12. It's like he's still afraid of Kobe or something from that dunk a couple years ago. It's like either let him have the bucket or FOUL HIM HARD. If you're going to blatantly get your 5th foul then at least attempt to block it like a beast would. I just wanted to see Dwight block Kobe and the Lakers. Pau almost made all of his shots, and Dwight had something to do with that. That's why Dwight needs to toughen up more on D and let the beast inside him unleash on his opponents.
